He has Cup carte blanche now that the Kings, a team Hextall helped build into champions by following the same methodology he learned in Philadelphia and that was good enough to get the Flyers close in '87 and '97, officially is the NHL's best in 2012.
Maybe the championship banner the Kings will unfurl next season should have a twinge of orange in it somewhere, too?

Congrats LA, but as a fan I feel a little cheated that the cup game was decided on one player's brain fart. At least he could have waited to lose his mind in the third OT.

9 seasons, 9 different Stanley Cup champions. That's a bit amazing. That's the first time it's ever happened in one of the four major sports. I wonder if we'll see that go to 10 next year.
