On the too many men penalty, Bieksa had a skate cut on his face for halting that break-away. Im not talking about that blatant high-stick on Burrows.

I think its stupid its even on NBC. Versus should just carry all the games. They are the ones willing to carry the games during the week, they should be rewarded with the games on the weekends too.

I'm pretty sure versus is owned by NBC. NBC takes the ones it feels will draw the biggest audience.

So weird to see CBC Hockey Night in Canada showing a game with no Canadian team playing.

But at least it is not compressed to hell.

NBC feed was fine today. The Canada/USA gold medal game had some horribad quality.

And how. Starting the 2nd period the Avs started their stupid dump and chase style of play... I can't stand it. It'll kill 'em if they don't start passing and making plays.

I didn't think the sharks could get any worse at Playoff hockey. But they really have somehow now scoring/contributing to the goal that costs them the game. I don't even hate Boyle for that cause I know he's going to hate life for doing it.

So after being an offensive powerhouse and getting over 50 shots in 2 consecutive games, you think they can't get any worse at playoff hockey? 50 shots on net is ABSURD... especially twice in a row. They're just up against the best goaltender in the playoffs right now.

The Sharks must be having flashbacks and they might be thinking that it's Patrick Roy in net for the Avs. At least it might as well be. 50 shots on Anderson and they lose the game by putting it in their own net on a fluky play...wow.

This loss is much easier to take than Game1. I actually feel better about the game we played and lost tonight than the game we won on Friday.

We lost the game, but I would say that we didn't actually get beat by the Avs.

I've been a Sharks fan for a VERY long time, from even before I registered this name here at AT. I cannot think of another playoff game where taking a loss is anywhere as easy as taking this one is.

I'm starting to have flashbacks to last year with Hiller, we seem to always run into a hot goalie in the playoffs lately. That said our top line needs to be better I feel but it's not much of a surprise really as Thornton seems to disappear in the playoffs every year.

Have you actually watched the games? Thornton has brought his game. And I don't mean his past playoff "game."

The rest of the first line hasn't, especially Marleau.
