I just finished watching the Nintendo conference, and i have to say, it's 10X better than the Sony one, which literally made me sleepy. And i'm actually use to the name Wii now... i guess after hearing it a hundred times, you get use to it. I still don't know about the controller though... although watching Zelda, it looks interesting.

I wonder about the developers though... how many companies are going to be willing to develop for the Wii, only one platform, when they can potentially create games for PS3, 360, and PCs.

The Wii looks awesome, really wish they went with "Revolution" though, it sounds a LOT better and sounds like what they are aiming for.

Wii name is so crazy, I wouldn't be surprised if it's just a tactic(Sony exec- OMG, Wii, what have we missed this time ?) and the real name will be Revo or something.

You can stream the press conferences for free. You have to be a member to download it. Hopefully there will be other ways and sources to download this content.

Conference convinced me to buy one at launch. More specifically, Zelda, Metroid, and Red Steel convinced me to buy one at launch.

Looks really cool. Watched Microsoft conference right after watching Nintendos. I agree with them now that its time for new gameplay ideas and innovations. Graphics can only go so far.

i'm preordering this system the moment it becomes available to do so

also, the prospect of dl'ing indie games, and games from the old sega, turbografx, etc makes this truly a nobrainer. the capability to enjoy creative, fun, innovative games rooted in good history (zelda, mario, etc) and enjoy all the old school games that I've wanted to play is just too awesome.

I've started playing games starting out w/ an old Atari system, followed by NES, etc.

I truely can't wait.

ps3 will have to wait until it drops in price significantly

What's the point of good graphics if the games are horrible? The 360 has been thoroughly unimpressive so far, and even after 6 months there isn't more than a handful of decent games. With the price of the PS3 being ridiculous it looks like I'm buying the Wii, unless the Xbox games improve or theres a dramatic price drop.

i'd like to point out that the ps2 didn' t have more than a handful of good games for a year
