anyone know if Anand will have benches @ 12:00 am?
looks in NFS4's direction
That's what I was thinking. My 9800 Pro is looking better and better every day.Originally posted by: Dug
If any of this is true, Nvidia better go back to the drawing board. As there's no way I'm giving up my 9800 and pay out another $400 for this.

Not with the links that GTaudiophile put up. They were all benched at the same resolution.
The most you get is 4xAA instead of 2xAA. You'd be hard pressed to spend $400 for that.

COD is the only thing that is impressive right now. IF these are legit, there is no reason to upgrade from say a 5900/5900U/5950/9700/9700p/9800/9800p/9800xt

This would be true except for the fact that there is a huge difference between 4fps average difference on NfS:Underground and 50fps at better settings on Call of Duty. Looks to me like the driver is set up to take advantage of the hardware in CoD, but not for the other games yet... Could this be right?

COD, BF vietnam, and SS: PT are being ran at higher resolutions and higher AF with the 6800U
