you can go play demo units. Unless your talking about actually playing one at home. Still it was fun for me when I played it. Thought "motorstorm" was fun. Had good graphics, and physics.

However the PS3's menu left something to be desired. Little confusing, thankfully I didn't spend to much time there.

I'd like to get my hands on a 20GB PS3 if anyone here is selling one at a reasonable price. I have an extra Wii that I'd be willing to trade towards it.

Looks like the number of systems on eBay is dropping like a rock. It peaked at over 36,000 today and is now down to just over 24,000.

I have a PS3 along with an etra controller and 9 games. I have NOT opened it, the plan is to sell it around xmas time on ebay. If prices don't go back up and i am unable to make a $1000 minimum profit (i am hoping for 4-5 times that) then i will be keeping it so until then i won't know what it is liek to play in my house

Good luck selling it with 9 games.....

The people selling PS3s with a large number of games seem to be the ones getting owned the most.

There were a couple of idiots that took up CompUSA on their "Buy a Sony HDTV to reserve a PS3" deal and tried to sell the HDTV and the PS3 together. I don't even think they broke even.

I hear this idea every year, and every year it ends up being a mistake. When I was eBaying Xbox 360s, I made a good amount of money on most of them, but barely broke even in the week leading up to Christmas.

People who want to spend money on PS3s will buy them as soon as possible. Bargain hunters are the only people who will hold out late into December, hoping to score one in stores.

mine have all been sold already Let's just say my "worst" price was $2.5k. I have 3 left. 1 to play, 1 to mod, and the third one will be donated to a local youth center(along with a 32" LCD HDTV, which I'll get for less than $400 from microcenter on BF). I can guarantee I'll be spending more time on playing the wii though. Resistance FOM was a letdown, and none of the other games out right now are worth playing. I have madden 07 too but there's nothing earth shattering there if you've already played it on the 360

Actually it sold for $1250; read the auction. The seller just circumvented eBay's fees.

Hmm, on the $51 auction: "The seller ended this listing early to sell to the high bidder(s) at current bid price."

Sounds like a Buy It Now but avoiding the eBay fees -- buyer pays "$51" via eBay payment then another $1,000 under the table. Seller avoids eBay fees on the $1,000.
