I don't have a ditto safari but I have access to one. Feel free to PM if you want to trade for a ditto with 2 perfect IV's.

Finding and catching a ditto with 1 perfect IV of your choice isn't too hard so I won't ask much in return, but if you want 2 specific IV's, I'll ask for something comparable in difficulty/rarity in return.

I'm looking for a Ralts/Kirlia/Gardevoir with the hidden ability Telepathy, or lucky eggs, but I'll consider anything.

I have access to quite a few friend safaris, so if you're looking for something else in particular (protean Froakie/Frogadiers, etc.) I might be able to get you one.

So Club Nintendo is doing a thing where if you register a 3DS and one of six different games (Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, Animal Crossing, DKC Returns 3D, LEGO City Undercover, or Yoshi's New Island), you get a free downloadable copy of X or Y.

I registered my 3DS and I actually have a Super Mario 3D Land, but I can't find my code anywhere. I suppose it's a long shot, but does anyone have an extra code from one of the aforementioned games I could have? Would love to get me a free Pokemon Y.

I restarted my game and am pretty bummed that I can't get the event Blazikenite Torchic anymore; does anyone have an extra?

So I called up Nintendo and they were really nice about it. They added my 3D Land to my account, so now I have Pokemon Y. Hooray!

Bah @ miss-able timed exclusive content like that. That would piss me off enough to buy a R3D card or such and install all the missing content from torrents and or save file editors.

Limited time window miss-able content that you can miss forever: That is one game I DO NOT PLAY.

I can probably breed one for you if you want just the Torchic (don't have an extra Blazikenite, sorry). Let me know if you're interested. FC is 2234-7297-3900

Just registered my son's 2 year old 3ds and MK, and got the free pokemon Y. Now, I won't have to buy it for my daughter who already plays X on it.

Just finished this game in about 20 hours, wow not quite what I was expecting. Let me first say that the last Pokemon game I played was Sapphire on the GBA, and the last one I completed was Silver on the GBC.

I thought this game was extremely short, and extremely easy. I think for Pokemon Silver, I burned 40-50 hours beating both regions, getting all 16 badges, and catching the legendary dogs.

This one on the other hand essentially ends after you beat the Elite 4 (which I did on my 2nd attempt). Sure you can catch Mewtwo, some other weird legendary thing in another cave, and a single legendary bird, but that's it.

I chose the frog Pokemon to start, and used a combination of him and Charizard to blast through all the gyms. Each were low 70s when going into the Elite 4. I used a grand total of 10 different Pokemon through the entire game, and that was only due to needing some "utility" pokemon that could use the "Cut" or "Waterfall" HM. Most of the pokemon in my party leveled up yet I never used them (Machoke and Haunter). And for people thinking that I never battled anyone or just sped through, when I got to the elite 4 I had around 1,300,000 dollars in my guys account, so I did battle every training along the road that I could. Also got every TM there was in the wild.

I was kind of expecting/hoping for a 2nd region to open up with another 8 badges and more Team Flare or some other team to surface, but I was disappointed All in all way too easy and short compared to the Pokemon games I grew up playing. Are any of the DS Pokemon games built like the GBC versions?

X and Y is generally considered significantly easier because Exp Share now shares EVs and allows all party Pokemon to receive 50% of the total exp, which effectively results in a significant net increase in exp earned per battle compared to previous gens. Which is also why you don't have to grind as much.

IIRC, Gold, Silver and Crystal are the only games that had 16 badges. So nothing on DS matches that. Generally, the sequels/remakes for each generation has more end game content, since they generally allow you to catch the legendaries in that generation plus a few more thrown in from previous generations. So try White 2/Black 2 or HeartGold/HeartSilver if you're looking for more content.

FWIW, I think they made X and Y to be a lot easier to participate in competitive battling. Friend Safari made it a lot easier to get hidden abilities. Destiny Knot made perfect IV breeding a lot easier. Fairy-type and mega evolutions shook up the pool of usable competitive teams . . . so if you don't participate in competitive battling, those improvements probably didn't effect you.

In case you're looking for more post-game content in X or Y, there's about a dozen mega stones you can only get post-Elite 4 with the mega ring upgrade. There's also the battle chateau, friend safaris, looker bureau quests, etc. that kept me occupied for quite awhile. However, there isn't really any additional story content, unfortunately.

I see Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire have been announced, to be released in November. I suppose this means no Pokemon Z.
