Going 0-20 at the 3pt line is never going to help...
/edit: they finally hit one, lol
Shooting 20 of them won't either. The most athletic backcourt in America and they want to just jack it up today.

WV collapses so much and they've gotten extremely lucky that KU has been so off behind the line (and that they were so hot behind the line in the first half.) Aside from KU's bricks, what surprises me the most is that WV has been able to drive the ball.
It looks like Kentucky's attempt to buy the national championship in basketball this year is ruined.
You've got "proof" of this "buy" that you talk about?
soon enough, soon enough. cal will leave you guys with a bunch of violations as well.
You've got "proof" of this "buy" that you talk about?
And Cal has been the cause of the violations at other schools? Can you name one violation that "Calipari" has brought to either of the other universities that he has coached? I bet you can't. Just an opinion by you and others.
Oh well, I hope that Butler wins it all...if not them, Michigan State. Anybody but Duke or Tennessee. Hell, even WVU would be so bad.
LOL if you think that KY bought Cal just for the one recruiting class. Two people followed Cal from Memphis and two others picked KY after Cal arrived. UK picked Cal because he is one of the top coaches in the NCAA, period.
Crap, just a shitty game!
Cal said nothing to the NCAA with regards to the violations in Memphis and he never asked Rose to speak to the NCAA either. You honestly believe he is 100% clean? I think it would be in his best interest to not lie to the NCAA about why Rose took his SAT in Detroit while he was a student in Chicago. The #1 high school recruit in the country and you don't know what is fully going on?
Your opinion. The NCAA has cleared Calipari 100% on the Rose issue. The clearinghouse cleared him to play and he played. They pulled it from him after the season was over. Again, no proof that Calipari did anything wrong. Just a guess on your part. Enough cluttering this thread up. Take it to PM's if you want to discuss it further.
It's UK, not KU (KU = Kansas University). They can drive because they hit 10 3's which opened up the lanes as KY came out. KY's offense was just shitty today...the 1-3-1 and trap zone killed us in the 2nd half. A great season that ends at the Elite 8.
I'm disappointed in UK losing mainly because I wanted Coach Cal to get to the finals and lose there again.
Haha, I would've been fine with that over what happened.
I hate to watch this UK season end, especially on a game where they couldn't shoot for shit. Half of our team is now gone for the NBA, and we're quite possibly looking at somewhat of a rebuilding year next year, even though we'll still have a lot of talent depending on who stays. I don't think UK will be too much of a factor next year for a Final Four, but things are looking up for 2+ years down the road.
sad here...sad. All the props to Butler. State did not deserve that game. looked like the same game they played against Iowa State at the end of the season. Still EMAW! Proudof the KState wildcats, for an everyman team they did pretty good. Good for Butler, much luck in Indy!
I understand they Izzo-fatigue, but he really is a great coach with top notch character. Go Big Ten!
Btw, anyone else not all that impressed with Wall? Granted that was the most I've seen of him, but he's got one speed and no shot away from the paint. Great hands, but also looked lazy on defense.
Watching the "freshman" Wall for such a short period didn't do him justice. He doesn't have the greatest outside shot but was better during the season. He set the UK single game and season assist marks and did a fantastic all around job as a first year player leading the CATS to a 35-3 record. Not going to give him all of the credit as he had a good "young" cast. He will be missed next year!
