I see the incentive to pre-order on Amazon, and I have Amazon Prime, but I don't see anything about release date delivery. Can someone clue me in on this...and if we get it on release day, I'm ordering it tonight.

All Amazon prime accounts get release day shipping automatically as long as they order soon enough. I've bought games the day before they were released and still fit them the next day but it's best to order earlier of course.

I've received orders within 3 days even with budget shipping. I think it just depends what warehouse it ships out of and where it's going. Worst case is a week and a half?

I'll probably get this game on release day. The trailers and other videos really haven't got me excited though. Maybe it's because I'm just not a big fan of the wild west theme. I'm just getting it because I need a new Xbox game.

I don't want to start a flame war. It's a legitimate question; I want the best gaming experience and I know Xbox LIVE is better than PSN but what about graphics and gameplay etc.?

I'm so in for this from Amazon. The $20 GC put me over the edge, and I even sprung for release date delivery for $6 as Tuesday is a perfect day for me to start the game in between my work schedules.

Yeah, there's one mission and one outfit that are apparently exclusive to the PS3. Personally though I'd still get whatever most of your friends have, one bonus mission out of a hundred isn't that big of a deal.

Typically most multi-platform games are programmed on the 360 and ported to the PS3 but Rockstar says they developed both versions on their respective consoles so expect them to perform equally.
