Hmm...Forsberg runs into Nabokov. It's a penalty. Sharks players run into Aebischer. It's not a penalty. Ever. Does anyone else see a double standard here?
I will admit, when the play has actually been called fairly the Avs were the inferior team. However, it'd be nice to see the stupid refs call a stupid penalty in the Avs favor, just once, when it has been established previously that it is indeed a penalty.
bullshit. did you see how forsberg held onto those 2 shark players near the end (stuart and someone else)? The refs were NOT calling penalties for the Avs much, they just suck. Forsberg intentionally ran into nabakov, whereas dimitrakos (or cheechoo? dont remember which player) did NOT intentionally run into Aebischer. It's funny to see how Aebischer hit the other team whenever he gets the chance to.
Yeah, you all Avs fans are just bitter that your all star team is getting owned over and over again by the SHARKS, with like, not many big players at all. we are almost missing an entire line and we still pwned.
Funny, Aebbi gets run over what, four or five times in Game 1, none of them are called. Nabokov gets touched and it's a penalty.
This game: An Avs player touched Nabokov's pads with his stick and it gets called. Aebischer gets run over in the third period for about the fifteenth time in the series and it's not called.
You want to prove me wrong? Fine. Show me a replay. Until then, I stand by my "lousy officiating" remark.
Edit: I'm not denying the Sharks are a superior team right now. When the refs have actually called a fair game, the Sharks have proven themselves to be a superior team. Frankly, I just want a Game 4 where it's officiated fairly towards both teams, and if the Sharks win, good for them. If the Avs win, good for them.
