I loved SG1 Seasons 1 - 5 but it seemed that it progressively got a little worse with each subsequent season. I hope they go back to more of the Showtime roots... but this is the SciFi network and am not expecting much (nor watching it as much anymore).

only 10 second "credit/opening" sequence... vs the ~1 min one they had last season (so they can fit more commercials in)

It will be interesting to see if its sg1, atlantis and bsg (i know atlantis/sg1 will have it but havent heard confirmation on BSG).

I hope they don't make anything happen with BB and Sam, that would be horrible.
But with RDA gone, it means we either get smarmy BB crappy stuff, and no chemistry within the team, or we don't get enough emotional stuff anyway.
As good as Daniel is at the love/romance/chemistry stuff, alone he won't be able to pull it off.
RDA/Carter was needed for the extra chemistry and asumement, without him it may be horrible.

Hopefully Browder can do what the dude in Atlantis has done, and manage to be sarcastic/cool/etc without coming off as a smarmy git.

On the topic of the 10 second intro, it will be a loss, but IMO Scrubs has one of the best intro's on TV, it's short and to the point. If they can replicate that in the main, I won't mind waiting for the DVD to get myself a full intro.
