I wonder how many they're pushing out per wave, and how often the waves will happen. I'm pretty sure I'll be on the tail end of it since I put my code in last week.
For those of you not playing yet, how many "check marks" do you have when logging into your account? I can't access from work, but when I checked this morning, there were a total of 5 iirc and it seems I should've been 3/5 but am currently only 2/5. Trying to make sure now that there's not an issue that will plague me when my time comes.
Would you rather have me brag about a competitive game like when I played Cal Pro in CSS or would you prefer a mmo style competitive game like WoW? I kept asking on the forums why people were being outdpsed by companions and never got a true response other than "they are just better than us." I would ask specs and they would give some random 5/5/5 spec. Yes, mara kinds sucked between 25-35, but they were never below their companions. Jaessa and vette will always be a hot topic, but once jaessa's ravage was finished she really didnt have much else to offer. I dont care if your a little kid or a baddie or just dont care and want to be your own special way, but if people who are good at the game can easily double their companions dps, why buff the class so others can feel special. The designers have a set way to get the maximum potential out of the spec and huge spreadsheets on how each spec works. This game may be designed for people of all ages, but they are not going to change the entire talent specs because some people cant figure out to go down the entire talent tree first before spreading out the other talents. Same goes with ability rotation.
You want to know why you should care? Because if someone like me who has actually spent time looking into specs and testing them out, playing multiple builds, many different games, and repeatedly outdpsed their companion 2:1, I would think you would listen when I say its the bads and not the class. Annihilation sucks, shared tree sucks, pick the other one and get the obvious dps talents, pick up the couple first talent in annihilation after you finish carnage.

I'm thinking (err, hoping) that the 3rd check box refers to the retail product code you'll get when the game actually goes live (from the retail box for example) and is different from a pre-order code required for Early Access.

Basically if you didn't redeem your code in July, you can probably forget today. I'm guessing I'll be in by Friday or so since I redeemed mine late last month. Blah.

However, what people seem to be constantly overlooking is that the early access "promise" was "up to 5 days" prior to launch.
That puts us at Dec 15 as the expectation date, and yet the whiners are, well, being themselves, heh.
