If you were strong in the light side you got a slight FP discount on light side powers, and a slight FP increase when using dark side powers, BUT, the strength of the powers was never changed.
You did not get a discount by being neutral and using neutral powers, however having a high charisma would give a slight point discount on all powers regardless of light affinity.

KOTOR 2 did once you gathered all the jedi council. You got a dark or light side power depending on the encounter. I remember Force Crush (the dark side power) being retardedly OP.
Yup, instant death on any one enemy except bosses, and usually on bosses its super damaging.
If you lean towards the light side you get Force Enlightenment, which casts all the buff powers at max level and for a discount. Great time and mana saver.

bleh, that's some BS there. I've been signed up since they started taking sign ups years ago. I long in all the time to make sure my computer profile with their little scanning software is up to date whenever I might a change to my hardware. Been on the forums more than a few times. Talk about annoying.

so i've been reviewing the character profiles and types of play and i think that i am going to go with the Trooper. i'm torn between the advanced classes. i'm leaning towards commando with a combat medic specialization but i'm not sold on it yet.
this would be my first MMO so i'm a little wary in general.
