if anything, wouldn't keeping them together have thrown Vader off the track if he tried to find them? he'd only be looking for a single child, not twins.

Because that's how the original starwars starts. Lucas didn't bother coming up with a convincing reason.

Besides - if they want to hide the kids from darth vader, giving one of them to vader's brother shows a level of cunning rarely seen outside of roadrunner cartoons.

I definetly agree with Grevious in clone wars being way better than Grevious in III....Clone Wars (I thought) was absoutely awesome, so much action and the last 5 had a real good story, but it actually made ep III seem worse because Clone Wars was so action packed...and I was so dissapointed with Grevious, I was all ready for him to kill a lot of jedis in the real movie but he never killed a single person!
Also have to agree with Vaders "NO" scream, that was horrible..but if they had done it the way that script said, it would have been awesome.
I do have to say I really loved Episode I and II..I remember not likeing them when they first came out, remember saying "They were good, but I won't be able to watch them alot like the original", but after watching them last weekend and again this week as my sister did, I thought they were awesome! The end of EP I, where 4 battles are going on at once, I was amazed...didn't remember them at all, but watching them again I loved them so much.

it could have been better, but OK. my friend was real pissed. Vador yelling noooo and other stuff was lame.

So, how does Anakin's "Nooooooo" scream compare to Luke's "Nooooooo" scream from Empire?

yeah, I guess I was just expecting some kind of explanation for the stupidity. heh.

Just got back from seeing it and wow! I really liked it, there were some slower parts in there but the last part of the movie is amazing.

Hayden Christian did better in this one than the last one though not great, and what a solid performance from Ewan Mcgregor, as usual.

Awesome movie, I'm sure I'll be seeing it again soon.

don't put all your eggs in one basket, that's why. If he finds one, he thinks he's all done, but there's still another one out there. makes sense to me.

Worst scene in the movie was the Wookie battle. It was like having a battle on a football field, and the Tarzan screams really made them seem like big Ewoks.

Because, "Obi Wan was wise to hide her."

It could also be because they didn't want to have too many jedi together in one place, presenting a greater "hole" in the force, sort of like a planet in a gravitational field. Twins of the most powerful jedi (ever) would definately be more noticable than one alone

That and if they were together, and Vader found them together, it would most likely mean all hope gone at the same time, whereas if one was killed there would always be the other.

"stupidity" in the movie was best displayed by ObiWan letting Anikan slowly burn alive. Since when do you let someone you supposedly love as a brother or son die in such a horrible way? Jedi aren't even supposed to believe in death as a punishment, let alone such a horrific one. He should have been merciful and killed him quickly after dissabling him, or at least he should have attempted to save him. They could have done a better job at displaying the scene, such as having Palpatine arive to chase off ObiWan before Anakin "died", or having Anakin catch on fire after losing limbs and then fall into the volcano out of sight. Oh well.

All good ... but the theatre still erupted in laughter during the Padme/Anakin scenes. "I'm so in love with you..." blah.

My impression of the cheese:

"Anikin! Something wonderful has happened. I'm pregnant!"

"You are soooo beautiful!"

"Then you're blinded by love?"

"Uh... I didn't mean it like that."

"I love you."

"No, I love you more."

"I promise you I won't die."

"No, I promise you you won't die."

A lot of groans during some parts.

Oh well. For the most part, it was pretty damn decent.

Of course, it's pretty much impossible for there to be spoilers, because everyone knows the storyline already. Can't really pull a "Homer Simpson" while leaving to the line of people waiting to get in.

Theatre had projector problems so the show was cancelled.

Almost was a riot (you white boyz can get really angry?)

Three cop cars showed up as I was leaving.

For us, the film snapped, so the movie started about 15 minutes late. I could feel the tension in the theatre.

I argree, but I think he went there to save Sideous all along because he knew Windu was going to end up killing him. At this point he was torn between who to help and when he saw Windu was about to kill Sideous, he begged him not to, not because of the Jedi code but because he needed more time to make a decision about whose side he was on. After Windu was killed, Anakin realized he had no other option but to take sides with Sideous.

 That pretty much sums that up correctly IMO.

***Spoilers***

The scenes with Anakin getting destroyed and then being turned into Darth were just Wow! and the whole Obi-Wan with the "You were the chosen one!!" just really were done perfect IMO.

Yeah Obi Wan really messed him up in the end! That was pretty gruesome! If I hadn't seen 4 - 6 and known that Darth Vadar was really Anakin, I would have certainly thought Anakin was as good as dead!

Visually orgasmic,
Audio-wise fantastic,
Dialogue like diarrhea.

Sort of makes up for the previous two movies and definitely makes you want to watch the older trilogy.

the dialog was kind of weak in the beginning, but got better over time. Definetely the best out of the 1st three, although I did like I and II as well.

EP III is definitely way better than the last two movies.

*****SPOILER****

1. The worst scene has to be when Vader screaming over Padme's death.

2. They could have made it so more time has passed with Anakin and Palpatine to solidify their relationship. Anakin descent into darkness seemed rushed. I'd wish there would have been more of a natural progression.

3. I knew that Mace Windu would almost defeat Palpatine before Anakin comes along to the rescue. BTW, it was hinted in EP II that Mace was the most powerful Jedi (warrior) in the console and Yoda the wisest (and the most powerful with the Force).

4. I did not like that so many Jedis were killed off so quickly by Stormtroopers. Just because they were not well known characters shouldn't mean they can't put up a better fight.

5. Padme dies to childbirth??....Wait in Return of the Jedi Leia was telling Luke how she remembered her mother, said that she was beautiful and very sad or something like that.

I'm guessing Leia's referring to her adopted mother. If you recall, only Leia's father, Bail Organa is referred to in the original trilogy. I bet that Liea's adopted mother dies when she is very young and that's why Liea only has a slight memory of her.

OK, now my question is why is Leia's last name Organa, but Luke's last name stays Skywalker? Shouldn't his last name be Lars?

*****SPOILER****

It's a possibility that the "images" she remembers are of Padme dying?? Leia, afterall, is force-sensitive. Maybe Luke didn't have the ability to recall extrememly early thoughts/images.

Who knows?
