this is probably a repost, but if you watch at the very bottom of the docking station on the first seen when aniken and OB1 return to the senate building, you'll see the Millenium Falcon fly in and land. =D

I think the movie was visually stunning, but I don't necessarily buy Anakin's reasoning for turning to the dark side. My least favorite part of the last 3, not counting Jar Jar Binks, is the interaction, the so-called love between Anakin and Padme. As with the rest of the general population I was never sold on those two being together, as they sound like 2 high school kids reading a script together for the first time. I also think the light saber battles have lost their mystique. I guess the choreography is more sophisticated than the original trilogy, but when I saw light saber battles in those movies, they seemed like they were more significant, to the movie and the audience. I really liked the movie, and I'm just nitpicking now, but I really think Anakin's reason for turning to the dark side is a tough sell.

There was a very brief scene with them in episode 2. I believe he was his step-brother.

I think Leia mentioned her mother in ep 6. I guess it's her adopted mom now, but the first time I saw it (and most people, probably), it was assumed that she was talking about her real mother (she talked about how her mom was sad all the time, which in the context, seemed to imply that she was sad about the loss of her husband, Anakin).

The other Jedi's did get taken out too easily. AFAIK no Jedi was ever hit by a laser when weilding a light saber, the one with sheer volume is understandable but, common. They cant sense those things either? Yoda seemed to do fine. Maybe because hes the big cheese or because clones are harder to sense.

How much further do the books take the story in terms of timeline and plot? Are they all written by the same person? Any good?

yoda started to feel the deaths of the other jedis..yoda was one of the last jedi's to be executed so he was expecting it. The order 66 was a sudden thing, which threw all the jedi's off...I read on IESB.com that the blue jedi with huge tits didn't die, because she may be brought back for the tv show.I don't see how that is possible since she was shot in the back 10 times.

I plan on reading the novel now and see it in the theater a couple more times...the music was awesome..the fx were amazing..best story of the prequels..my beef was only the vader scene when he finds out padme dies...the whole scene seemed weird.


I give it a solid B..definately worth seeing in the theater.

IT could be that since both children were the child of a jedi, they might be able to sense their mothers feelings while still in the womb. hence the reason why lei knew mommy was sad.

also, why didn't padme know she had twins? No drs in this galaxy that handle child birth?

padme knew she had twins, she named them right when she had them.

padme knew she had twins, she named them right when she had them.

Did you watch the movie? All movie long they were talking about their one BABY, not BABIES.

It could have been one of those cases where they didn't want to know and wanted to be suprised. And if they went to anyone they'd know she was pregnant, then they'd start asking questions. However if Anakin kept having dreams about her dying in child birth, I would have taken her to a doctor to make sure she was fine as well as the baby(ies)

 

Saw it today. The theatre I was, the sound died 30-minutes in. I got ripped off because the backup theater was not DLP. It actually looked better in regular projection. In DLP all the CG models looked too digital, like a video game. Standard project kind of filtered everything and made it a little more natural.

I have a question... General Grievous was a droid... so why did he audibly breathe and cough, and at one point when Obi-Wan kills him you can see he has a beating heart... wtf?

He was a Kaleesh warlord on his home planet, after a speeder accident he was almost killed, so Dooku found him, made him a cyborg, and taught him tons of lightsaber training. Not enough I guess.
