Something struck me as amusingly ironic about Bush talking about less government control of something.

I think he's doing pretty well. What's your problem with it?

I just can't listen to him talk without thinking he's half giggling like a 10 year old inside and half not knowing what the heck is going on. Just always seems disingenuous.

Eyes looking down, closed, subdued....OWNED!

Making the tax borrowing permanent is likely the top priority - and a big mistake. Repeal his tax borrowing, at least have it expire.

Repeal the tax cuts, and the rich will pay a lesser share of income compared to the poor. The poorest will once again pay income. Oh, no, you mean repeal SELECTIVE parts of it right?

So where do you come up with that? Bush's tax cuts benefit the top 1% of the country and no one else.

My head just asploded. "Empower judges that understand that the Constitution means what it says." He cares about it now? Has Bush informed himself of this decision yet?

LOL! Pelosi wasn't going to get up for "deliver justice to our enemies" and realized...."OH CRAP!"

And then she did.

Only if you've got something we want, or something we don't like, then we'll bring freedom to your country. There will be some collateral freedom from life dealt out, but that's part of the price of involuntary freedom.

"We reviewed our strategy, and changed course."
Uh oh, a "Stay the course" reversal!

You're wrong. His tax borrowing - there was no tax cut, not a dollar, only replacing taxes now with debt that has to be paid with taxes plus interest later - favored the most wealthy.

Repealing all his tax borrowing will increase the share of taxes paid by the most wealthy.

I'm in favor of repealing all his tax borrowing. I don't rule out further tax adjustments, but that's the point here, his tax borrowing.

So you are incapable of maintaining your goal but with a different way of doing it?
