I think Tampa will hang around till midway through the 3rd quarter at which point Mahomes will start trying lol.



Seriously I could see KC's defense keeping Tampa/Brady mostly in check for 60 minutes but NOT the reverse.

Chiefs win and most likely by 14+ ... in fact I think even WITH Brady involved this game has some "super-bore" blowout potential if KC is hot right out of the gate.

The only time I've ever rooted for Tampa is when they played the Raiders in the 2003 Super Bowl...the year after the Raiders traded Jon Gruden to Tampa...

This time, I'm gonna be rooting for KC.

I hope so ... NOT because I'm suddenly a fan of Brady's specially inflated golden balls though! (I just want an exciting game)





We've been lucky for awhile now ducking "Super-bores" ... let's just hope the streak continues and this is a closer game then I'm expecting. (I'm anticipating a blowout win for the Chiefs)

If this was just Brady vs Mahomes this would apply.

As-is the "Master" in the coaching department is Andy Reed and as for the teams (broken down by assignment) KC gets the same title or its too close to call except at possibly at QB.

And even at QB I don't think Brady's experience is going to do much to slow down Mahomes and the Chiefs or to counter Mahomes vastly better physical skills.

The only chance Tampa has IMO is for Mahomes to be less than 100% mobile so they can get pressure with their superior D. Given that "turf-toe" can be slow to heal this is possible and there's also that weird spine-concussion thing but I sure wouldn't bet on it!

I'm going 35-17 Chiefs with a Tampa "oh by the way" TD in garbage-time to make it appear that close.

Looks like the pre-game has started... on CBS anyway. I can't imagine blathering on about a game for 6 hours. Of coarse 5 minutes is too much for me so...
