KC might have been able to use Edwards-Helaire and more dink-and-dunk with a more manageable deficit. They were rendered one-dimensional with those extra 11 points.

Two huge factors beyond the (apparent) biased officiating so far have been the impact of both starting tackles being out and even more the now becoming obvious injury to Mahomes.

This sums it up perfectly. I didn't care who won, but lopsided officiating pisses me off (it was not really terrible, but definitely apparent). However, with a broke offensive line and a weakened Mahommes this loss was inevitable.

Brady was solid but not super-Tom level. KC's defense was ineffective. Big bad Tom didn't have to do anything truly spectacular. It is a bit of a shame that one of the highlights of his football career will have the "but KC wasn't at its peak" tagged to it. I would have loved a shootout and watched two of the best QBs really duke it out. I found the game a bit lack luster.
