I live in a major European city and there were only 2 places in the whole city that even played the super bowl. The Hard Rock Cafe and one American Bar.

listen, meatball - nfl europe was a joke league that failed miserably when compared to 3rd tier soccer. they manage to sell out 1 game a year drawing on a population equal to the entire united states. don't take my word for it, ask a uk sports fan.

Glad the 2nd half was almost a game. Playcalling was pretty poor in my opinion, specifically a lot of missed offsides.

Pretty good game all things considered. I know LeMichael James fumbled early, but you have to put him back in the game. And they should have just ate the delay of game penalty. They could have used extra space if they had no intention of running. Especially with the prospect that you will need the timeout if you dont make the TD.

While I'm happy Bolden and Reed got a SB ring, its irritating that Lewis got to go out on top. And the 49ers have to deal with Seattle, GB, Atlanta, NY, and a fully functional NO next year. This was probably their best shot. Who knows how much roster turnover they will have this off season.

And while I know Flacco finished had good stats, his receivers make him so much better than he is. He gets away with murder just floating those passes, and they just go and get the ball. I would have given Bolden the MVP. That guy is a beast. Always liked him, going back to FSU.

Oh well, as long as the Patriots dont win I'm happy. As a Raiders fan, all I have left is spite. :biggrin:

Bad no offside call on the Ravens on the 2pt try. Bad no call PI on the Ravens defender in the end zone on the 4th down. Meanwhile, 49ers got (properly) called on the PI and offside.

turned out to be an excellent game. Wish it had gone the other way and that interference in the endzone was called at the end, but lot of bad calls and many went the Niners way (do-over on that missed Akers field goal for hitting the kicker? rofl).

the mood got real sour from the Mission street bars and the out on the street in those last two minutes.

Running into the kicker was the correct call.

That No Call on the holding was not bad. There was no way he was going to catch that ball anyway.
