Given, TO's performance was courageous. But what about Dillon? I think he deserved to win more than anyone. Having to suffer so long with the Bungles, so many years of crappy loser teams. To come here, prove to everyone he could still play, wasn't as much of a head case as some tried to lead fans to believe, and come in here, be 62 yds away from the AFC rushing title, and have a career year, I think he deserved it more than TO the Talker...

Don't have the time to read through 600 posts of whining Eagles fans nonsense. Suffice it to say McNabb stunk the joint out. And Doughboy Reid showed himself to be a poor, poor excuse for a head coach. Nice calls down the stretch, Fatso!

I love this about the internet. Really strange opinions just come out of left field all the time...

I mean, comparing a guy coming back from an injury in half the time it takes a normal person for the biggest game of his life, to a guy who got sick of playing on a losing team and joined one that already won 2 Superbowls - how do people think this stuff up?

Jesus. Just... just stop watching professional sports. The fvcking guy coached his team to the Superbowl, and only lost by 3 points to a team that beat some GREAT teams in solid fashion throughout the season, and you're talking sh1t like you could do better. Fvck off. I can't stand fans like you.

Besides, in case you weren't aware, if it weren't for McNabb's 4 (one called back because of penalty) INTs, they would have won. And those were all TERRIBLE THROWS, not bad plays that were called, so you can't blame him.

1) our "pro bowl" secondary played like absolute garbage.
2) absolutely dreadful clock managemt.

this game was there for the taking, the eagles gave it away. pathetic.

Your Eagles offense couldn't do sh!t against 2 rookie corners and a bench warming rookie safety. Now THAT is pathetic. You guys were screwed b/c you couldn't stop the run worth crap.

The 2 rookie corners didn't do sh*t you fvcking dumbass. The 2 picks were by harrison and bruschi. McNabb threw for 350 yards.

Stopping the run? All their big gains were on completions that shouldn't have happened and those garbage dink & dunk passes. It was our secondary that was at fault.

Did you even watch the game?

Awwwwww is someone mad because his team lost? Figures. And what I said was your team didn't take advantage of the corners more. It was pathetic. Brady would have eaten you guys alive with rookie corners. Hell Vick would have. And um, stopping the run means you could have provided more men in coverage while having minimal prescence on the line. Obviously with Dillon you couldn't do that.

I'm not sure with your rage and the fact that you probably have an X-acto blade next to your wrists that you're thinking clearly, so instead of shouting insults you should try taking a breath or two to calm down.

McNabb threw for over 350 yards, what more do you want against the corners?

Stopping the run? Dillon had 75 yards. Hardly impressive for a team that lead most of the 2nd half.

The problem was with the pass coverage, plain and simple. Rip them all you want.

Dillion wasn't impressive? They only ran him 18 times! He was averaging nearly 5 yards a carry. True he didn't go over 100 yards, but that was only because the pats were passing.

What did TO do to deserve a superbowl? Came back from injury? He was about 90% that game and only played because the rest of the WR's for the Eagles suck so hard!

Dillon has never had a chance to win a Bowl, while TO had several opportunities during his career, but never pulled it off.

Dillon proved everyone that he was not a trouble maker and still had enough left in him to compete for the rushing title.

I am not taking anything away from TO's skills, but I don't think he deserves to win a Superbowl anymore than Dillon does.

I love how everyone loves Dillon now. Honestly, I used to HATE TO more than any player in the NFL. Now he gets my utmost respect for that performance last night, and who ever thought Dillon couldn't get the rushing title? Nobody ever worried about his ability and that isn't why the Bengals let him go. Look man anyone can be cool on a Super Bowl team, but a real man can be cool playing for the Bengals. That being said, neither of these guys have been prizes socially speaking with their former football teams.

There is no qeustion in my mind though after last night, nobody deserves a Super Bowl ring more than Terrell Owens.

Yeah, but I am still not convinced that because he had been able to come back from an injury, he deserved to win the Superbowl... I dunno, I guess I just don't see it...

Yeah, but TO could limp for a while, and come out in the middle of a series if it hurt to much. Curt was out there doing for a while, and he couldn't ease up on pushing it off that much...

How did Dillion suffer as a bengal? He's the one who RESIGNED with the team. if he was pissed off he didn't have to sign a 5 year deal with them. He put the suffering on his own.

having you ankle operated on the DAY you go out and pitch in some of the biggest baseball games ever and the fact that you could see the wound bleeding through his sock add that to the fact that he pitched some amazing games while like that makes curt >>>>TO

Ah, I get it! The Head Coach gets the accolades when the team wins, but doesn't bear any responsibilities when his team loses. Does that about sum up your moronic line of thinking?
Andy Reid calls the plays. He did not use clock management in either the first half or at the end of the game. He's either an idiot or he choked. Either way, he showed himself to be a second tier coach in the NFL.
And by the way, whenever some dope comes along and says some team "only lost by 3 points", the reveal their stupidity.
I will agree with you on one point, however. Donovan McNabb did stink out the game big time. He, also, proved himself to be second tier NFL material.

I don't think you can compare the two since they're two different sports, one hit to TO would have knocked him out of the game and possibly ended his career. Schilling did not have the risk of ending his career to deal with, his tendon couldn't be hurt anymore than it was.

Also, don't forget about McNabb awhile back throwing 4 TD's on a broken leg!

Please explain how a 2nd tier QB and coach can have the 2nd best overall record in the NFL over the past 4 years. I have to hear this one...

My point exactly. They're second best. For all the praise and applauds these two receive, the bottom line is they have not won a Super Bowl. And in the NFL, that's all that matters.
These two posers are beginning to remind us of the Buffalo Bills, Marv Levy and Jim Kelly.

So in your view there are 32 tiers of teams? OK, that's great. They're 2nd tier by your idiotic definition.

And then when they got the ball with less than a minute, McNabb makes a stupid pass 5 yards back to the line of scrimmage and wastes like 20 seconds! They made no attempt to go to the sidelines and try to stop the clock. They had enough time to get into FG range. Mind boggling that they wouldn't try to work the ball to the sides a bit. Correct me if I'm wrong but all 3 passes were to the middle of the field.
