Part of NFL trying to spread its seed wherever it can. The Redskins logo makes sense, too, because what does the world think when they think the USA? Cowboys and Indians. And it's not like the Chinese are going to complain about the Redskins controversy...

As a Chinese, I'm highly offended by half-naked women dancing and strutting their stuff on Chinese New Years. Where the hell are the fully naked women?

I hope Walter Jones is elected to the Hall of Fame today. This is his first year eligible. During his career, he was the best left tackle in the game, one of the most important positions on the field. Jones started all 180 games of his career, and only gave up 6 sacks.

Mike Holmgren called Walter Jones the best offensive player he has ever coached.

I remember when Shaun Alexander played for the Seahawks, with Steve Hutchison (another potential Hall of Famer in a few years) lining up next to Jones. Anyway, they had several toss/sweep plays to the left that was simply magical. You knew it was coming, but it could never be stopped.

Jones & Hutch were awesome. Of Alexanders 28 TDs in 2005, 14 of them he was never touched. NEVER TOUCHED I TELL YOU. Alexander had to make the right reads and cuts and have the speed to hit the hole but that is still insane. Walt was a great pass and run blocker. Crazy stat is of those sacks, two were in one game (the 2005 NYG game at Quest).

Also, he gave up two sacks to DeMarco Ware in his very last game before retiring. He played through a serious leg injury of course, which he promptly had surgery on afterwards.

I hope the Denverbroncos beat the Seattleseahawks in the Superbowl, but it mainly depends on whether Peytonmanning keeps his head. We'll see.

He already posted a rather long deal about Harvin, wondering what his effectiveness would be, in an earlier post.

That secondary vs manning is going to be an awesome show, for sure....but I am not sure that Sherman +2 can adequately cover the ~6-7 targets Peyton can find on any given snap.

I keep thinking about the Chargers game, and that goddamnmotherfucking 3rd and 17 play in the final minutes. That's how the Broncos kill you. They will always, always, always move those chains.

It should be a fucking awesome game.

Yup, they only scored 26 against NE but held the ball for so long Brady didn't get a lot of chances and the Denver D stood up when he did, I predict that Denver will "stack the box" at the line of scrimmage and force Seattle to try to beat them with Wilson, should be interesting what these teams plan for each other..

At least, not until the Raiders are renamed the "Railroaders" with a Chinaman logo. =)

Planning my menu and getting ready to shop for this Super Bowl feast! Nachos and wings. Just have to decide on what beer to get to go along with it now.

Hawk vs. Bronco?

To preface this video: birds of prey have killed all sorts of large game: killing foxes and wolves, deer, goats, owls, large snakes, antelope, etc. I never thought a bird of prey would drop a deer carcass on a power line. Youtube even has a video of a bird of prey attacking a person.

I was skeptical of the following video but it is legit: A real Bronco attacked and gutted by a Hawk. Don't watch if you have a weak stomach as the Hawk pulls out the Bronco's guts.

Go Hawks!

I don't have a favorite in this game. Both teams are great, but I do think Denver comes out ahead.

Let's just hope the refs stay out of it.

So long as it's not a blowout I'm cool either way. A finish like the Rams/Titans or Cardinals/Steelers would be ideal though.

Manning won his 5th MVP by getting 49 out of 50 votes. The other vote went to Brady, that voter should lose his vote for good.

I'd argue that Eddie Lacy getting Offensive Rookie of Year over Nick Foles is worse than 1 dude voting Brady for MVP.

Well if you look at pure stats that's one thing, but Brady had to bail out the crippled, crappy defense with 4th qtr comebacks on several occasions with a mediocre receiving corps at best, it could be argued that a QB with considerable less talent could have put up great numbers with that many quality targets to throw to that Denver has. Just look at the seasons when Brady DID have quality targets, he put up the numbers too, not taking anything away from PM, he had an awesome season, just saying...

Only a Patriots fan would even try to justify the one vote thrown Brady's way.

Some writers at ESPN felt the same way, that with the amount of injuries (and the one big murder charge) the Patriots would be lucky to win 9 games but they made it all the way to the AFC championship game, many times Brady just refused to lose and mustered up some of the best 4th qtr. comebacks of his entire career. I guess it comes down to how you define "MVP", to most voters it's a simple formula, who has the best numbers, to a few others it's who did the best they could with less than great circumstances. I'm not saying PM didn't deserve the MVP, he did and I'll also add he's a class act and I'll be rooting for him today, as a life-long Patriot fan I think this was perhaps Brady's best season ever despite very pedestrian numbers, take him out of the picture and the Pat's would have been a 4-12 team at best.
