Why am I watching the "pre-game" show lol
When Brady was down by 1 score, he had a spectacular 78.5 QB rating. 8 TDs to 6 INTs. He was even worse with a multiple score lead, at 55.8 QB rating, with 0 TDs to 4 INTs. By QB rating, his performance in the 4th quarter was worse than the 2nd and 3rd. He amassed 1,000 fewer yards than Manning and less than half the number of TDs. The Broncos were an 8-8 team before Manning took over, and now they have the best record in the league, the greatest offense in league history, and Manning broke multiple QB records, including that most precious one previously held by Brady. It's absolutely absurd that Manning wasn't the unanimous vote for MVP and Jim Miller is an idiot. Some writers at ESPN felt the same way, that with the amount of injuries (and the one big murder charge) the Patriots would be lucky to win 9 games but they made it all the way to the AFC championship game, many times Brady just refused to lose and mustered up some of the best 4th qtr. comebacks of his entire career. I guess it comes down to how you define "MVP", to most voters it's a simple formula, who has the best numbers, to a few others it's who did the best they could with less than great circumstances. I'm not saying PM didn't deserve the MVP, he did and I'll also add he's a class act and I'll be rooting for him today, as a life-long Patriot fan I think this was perhaps Brady's best season ever despite very pedestrian numbers, take him out of the picture and the Pat's would have been a 4-12 team at best.
that would be great!
Got my pork shoulder brining today, smoking it starting around 8am tomorrow. Slaw has been pickling since Thursday. picked up fresh sandwich rolls today.
