I'm going to make a new thread about this, because there are only 4 right now, and 4 isn't a good enough number. I will call it "*** OFFICIAL SUPERBOWL XXXIX THREAD 2 *** *CONFIRMED*"

Yea just maybe heh, am not a philly fan but TO is the best reciever out there if they don't have him its going to hurt them.Even though it hasn't been a problem at all but he'll be a great addition anyday.

I have heard it will be a miracle if he can even walk without assistance by the Super Bowl

Edit: The line has already moved. It's Pats -7 now.

Yup, it's moved to -7 now.

EDIT: Did you serisouly put down 2g's on a football game? You're nucking futs :Q

Actually, that's less than I wanted to bet, but I want to enjoy the game without having to worry about anything more than that.

No, you're picking Philly because you can't stand to see any team from the Northeast win. When will you learn?

Then please go abuse the person who told you. Obviously, you didn't see the game today.

T.O. was strutting up and down the sidelines -- at one point he jumped up on a bench and was jumping up and down leading the crowd in cheers. He also actually ran a few routes in practice this last week. All without "assistance".

I hope T.O. plays.

I want no excuses, or "What If's".

Also hope the Pats get Seymour back

My (more than usual) money is on the Pats. New England is too solid and consistant to lose this one. And don't say Miami, they were completely outplayed - all teams soften in the 4th with a healthy lead. The Dolphins managed to capitalize on it for everything it was worth. Not a chance that will happen in the Super Bowl.

Andy Reid is undefeated after a bye week.

Brady is undefeated in the playoffs

Should be a good game.

Pats look strong. Last year's SB was much closer then I expected. Pats will probably cover the 7 points.

I'd say the later statistic has a lot more meaning than the former

See the Pats don't have a LB that can cover Westbrook; their strengths really played well against the running Steelers and the Colts who had to play the Pats at home and decided to run all game. I don't know if the Pat's secondary holds up on a neutral site. We'll see

Pats by a field goal.

Since that seems to be how they win Super Bowls

I'm excited, should be a really good game. I don't really care for either team, but I'll be rooting for the Eagles. Given my track record the last two weeks, it'll be New England for sure.

Have the halftime acts been announced? I've got my fingers crossed for Ashley Simpson, because you just know she's gonna get booed.

Everyone thought the Pats would also blowout the Carolina Panthers in last year's Bowl. Turned out to be one of the best Superbowls in recent history.

All that doesn't matter anymore, it really comes down to 2 very good defensive teams and 1 game (of which either could win a single game, maybe if you asked how many outta 10).

ah... so one team gets lucky and you're all over it like flies on Sh!t?

Yeap... the Rams were supposed to kick the crap out of that Pats in the superbowl also.
I don't care how many superstars your team has... that doesn't matter...

Patriots in the NFL dictionary is defined as great team play.

So what if you have superstars if they don't play well with each other? I don't mean to take away from the Eagles, but I think with the way the patriots manhandled the steelers... without ANY outstanding players... and then think about the Eagles chances...

BTW... the steelers were a team a team that smeared the Eagles earlier in the season. The Patriots should be heavy favorites. Did we forgot that the AFC factor???? who in the NFC have the Eagles even played that have had winning records, much less as talented as any of the AFC teams that made they playoffs (OR MISSED) for that matter. What AFC teams did they beat this season?

Cleveland (not even close playoff contender)
Baltimore (Possible Playoff contender, but the fact remains they didn't make it)
Cincinnati (Not even close playoff contender, and still lost)
Pittsburgh (Smeared eagles)

Face it, the Eagles are in a whole new ball game when it comes to playing AFC teams... the weakest of the playoff teams in the AFC had a 10-6 record (broncos), and got blown out by the colts, who then got blown out by the patriots. If you think your Philly offense is more potent than the colts, I think you're mistaken.

but go on, indulge in your Fantasy of winning the superbowl... for the past 3 years they couldn't even make it past the NFC championship game. I'm ready for a choke-fest.
