Russell is not good. He's just surrounded by complete fucking morons. That's all and you all know it. If any of them had 1/3 of a brain, they would have voted him out ages ago...hell, look at what Tyson did! He's retarded. After that, Jerri was the stupid one. Even after Coach was gone they could have all voted Russell out, but they're all pansies. As a result, they will all go.

The only hope is that Parvati stops riding coattails a little sooner than other seasons and votes him out next week. Time will tell...

All that being said (or typed), anyone who thinks Russell is good needs a reality check. He has just been with some of the stupidest "players" this game has EVER seen. <----Period

Say it like it is [in your tattered dusty wind blown reality-obscured mind. ]

Russell has a great way of making everyone look stupid. Parvati is good too and that's why everyone wanted to target her early. Russell had the advantage of not being known, but he still worked people enough to facilitate their 'stupidity', especially when the odds were stacked against him.

If you want to talk stupid, your thoughts would gain credibility by highlighting daniella, lol.

If you look at all the instances where the girls in the "all girl alliance" are hugging Russell and celebrating with him at challenges, it should have been obvious to the Heroes that he wasn't in any danger. They're just dumb. Same goes for Tyson. Russell was so obviously playing him and he had NOTHING to lose by going with the vote. Nothing! He was just retarded. Same goes with Jerri. She and Coach should have just voted Russell off with Sandra and Courtney...hell, Russell told them he was voting them off to their faces and none of them ever made a play at him...why? Because they're all stupid. This game doesn't take that much in smarts, it's all about not being a retard; unfortunately, everyone on the game has some sort of mental block.

I understand what you're saying jjsole about Russell working their stupidity: that's obviously a good game strategy, but he's nowhere near the player that Yule was. He is just among a bunch of babies who can't stand up for themselves or trust themselves to concoct a plan. Coach is a prime example. He said he wanted to get rid of Russell and could have if he had tried, but he didn't. Hell, these people can't even get it right when they have a bullet-proof plan (Tyson).

I'm actually having a hard time watching this season because of how stupid these "players" are.

you guys complaining how 'stupid' these people are and how the decisions they make are just so stupid...

you gotta remember, they condense 72 hours into about 40 minutes. they edit stuff to make it appear one way or the other, they do that on purpose.

we see the 5 seconds of a 30 minute conversation that the editors want us to see.

they want us to make certain assumptions about people, and try to get us to like/dislike people intentionally. they are making russel out to be the best villian of all time, and as with any super villian, you ever love em or hate em.

anyone saying russel is not good is just wrong, sorry. he has been working the psychological portion of this game better than anyone in the history of survivor has, by a landslide. anyone who has made it past 24 days or so on survivor you can't call stupid.

how can you sit there and call the people on the show stupid, when there are at least 3 people still playing who have won the grand prize of survivor previously, and at least 3 people who have came in 2nd place, and probably more who have been voted fan favorites?

they are far from stupid...

Let's look at JT's idol strategy from a few perspectives. Let's pretend we don't know anything about what's happening at Villain's camp except what they see at challenges.

Scenario is, JT plans to give the Idol to Russell if the Villains lose, so Russell can be saved. This scenario is only useful if the merge happens next week (which we now know it will), otherwise, the remaining 4 women would just vote Russell off the following week (in JT's scenario.) So ... you burn the idol, on the hope that Russell can use it to blindside the "women's alliance," followed by the hope that the merge is coming, followed by the hope that Russell will "flip."

From a different perspective ... there are 5 heroes, and 6 villains. If the villains lose ... instead of giving the idol to Russell based on lots of "hopes" ... why not let them vote one out - even if it IS russell ... then it's 5 - 5 ... "IF" you merge ... you have an idol to burn to get rid of one of the "women's alliance" ... a much more solid strategy no matter how you slice it, in my opinion.

But none of that really matters I guess. Just saying -from a strategic standpoint, even if all of JT's assumptions were true - it's just not a smart move.

well if JT's assumption was true, they would have a 6-4 numbers if russel went with them, and they also did not want parvarti around. they all know how powerful/manipulative she is.

on top of that he looks like a hero helping him out w/the jury and getting some brownie points.

he was also worried I think about this all girl a lliance, then them coming and picking up Amanda to join them as well, making them down 4-6.

so i can see how it could work in theory, but on tv it does look pretty stupid. i still dont think it is nearly as dumb as what eric did his season haha.

maybe I'm old, or its the allergy medicine talking, but is Jeri hot as hell?

It's most definitely you. She might be hot in a I'm-50-and-I'm-still-a-virgin-and-I'm-stranded-on-a-deserted-island-with-Jeri sort of way, but that's about it.

I could see someone finding every woman on there attractive except Sandra and Jeri. I have no idea why you'd single her out over the rest of the (mostly) hot cast.

Not feeling it.

I have to say...I didn't see it at first...but Courtney has got a beautiful face. She is WAY to skinny, but she's got a really pretty face. Fatten those bones up a bit and she'd be a knock out...well if she wasn't so bitchy.

No question Courtney has a great face. She needs to double her weight though man... she's grotesquely skinny.

Yeah not into Jerri, especially with the other hot chicks around. But if you do like Jerri you can find her Playboy pics

Russel is a great player. One of the all time best. Not so great at challenges. He's just mediocre to bad in all challenges it seems.

ps, anyone see what coach was wearing on the jury? What a douche

Well JT isnt as dumb as James for being voted out while holding two idols but he is right behind him.

I was actually hoping that the villains would vote out Sandra first. She is such a useless loud mouth bitch. I think they would have had a better chance of keeping Courtney in check over Sandra.

The only thing about the "JT is such an idiot" thing is that what if the hero's were right and russell was on the outs and Pavarti had been running a women's alliance? JT would have been the smartest player ever. It was a ballsy move. It didn't work, but it was a good idea that had a 50/50 shot of working and at the same time, it got rid of the hidden immunity idol he'd gotten caught finding and he can sort of put that behind him.

Definitely agree..WAY to skinny which is why I never really thought of her as good looking until I noticed how pretty her face was when they interviewed her. Oh well...no more seeing her waste a way now that she's in the jury.

You are correct...if JT had been correct...and it did work and put them in the commanding position at the merge...everyone here would be singing his praises the way they sung praises of Russell with the whole Pavarti/Tyson debacle.

We'll see more of how good Russell is or isn't next week when he tries to do damage control in an effort to set up things here on out. He's been excellent in this type of thing before, not only to recover trust but to exploit the turmoil for future use. Parvati is his biggest risk at this point imo.

I disagree... Sandra is his biggest risk... she's insidious!! Her Sandra seed is way more potent than Russell's "Russell seed". He's my fav Survivor of all time, but his ego is definitely his biggest weakness.
