I respect JT for one simple reason. The handshake with Russell. It was classy. He got played and he knew it. Instead of pouting he acknowledged the move and with his head held high, left the game. JT went out with a bang for sure. Many will say he made the dumbest move in the history of Survivor, but in my book it’s how you finish and JT finished strong.
I noticed this and I too thought it was very classy. The game is called SURVIVOR, people work together but eventually someone is going to get played because there can only be one winner. JT knew this, he knew he got played fair and square and instead of bitching about it, telling everyone to fuck off and just sulking away, he congratulated Russell and left with his head held high. Not too many other people would walk out like that after getting played the way he did.
JT didnt make a dumb move, he made a risky move. It cost him but it could have made him won if he was right. Parvati is amazing.
I wonder what the woman did to provoke him.
Ya, the more I think about it, what JT did wasnt dumb or stupid, it was a gamble. No one there knows who Russell is, none of them know what we know. All JT saw was a guy on a team with all girls and assumed Russell was in trouble. JT took a gamble but it backfired.
Using JT's assumption that there was an all-girl alliance going, then Russell would be gone at the next tribal council, leaving Parvati, Danielle, Jeri, Courtney and Sandra. Now, if JT assumes that Candace and Amanda will align with the girls, then it will be 7v3. JT still has the hidden immunity idol but the girl-alliance can split their votes 4-3 and knock one of the guys out.villains lose - now it is 5 heroes, 5 villains - who cares if it was Russell or who it was?
You still have the idol in your posession and you use it with the people you trust to get a villain out in the first post-merge TC ... yes, that can backfire too, but it's a much more solid strategy than the silly move JT made.
I have no idea why Amanda just didnt read it quick and then give it to Danielle.
I'm not surprised. She wasn't certain that Candice was voting with the Heroes so there was no reason to expose herself as a flipper. She made a smart move that will keep her in the game longer.Another crazy episode. I am really surprised Sandra voted for Amanda.
Anyway, I am glad she is gone but I will miss he good look. Her "I have the weight of the world on my shoulder" look was getting on my nerves.
