lol was just about to post this. apparently since 2000 in the usa, there have been 20 seasons of survivor, and this upcoming one will make it 21.

They had a special on Monday showing who the people playing are on another channel and what they were like and it looks like a few idiots as always but also a few decent hotties, one even in the 40+ crowd.

I used to be into it, now I still kind of casually watch it in the background, not paying much attention. They have completely shifted away from the actual aspect of survival (having to find / gather food etc) to a "big brother at some beach" model.

Jimmy J on there should be interesting though. I wonder if he took hair spray as his one "comfort item".

First season was great when they were starving and eating rat to survive. Since then it's become too cushy.

From what i read... they decided to "make it harder" to find the idol.

Instead of hiding it out in the open behind a big tree... they're gonna do something like bury it 100 feet down in the center of camp.. noone will know its there unless they figure out the clues, which are now pictures instead of notes saying "its over there behind the big tree"
