Russel should have one both times he was there. Just extremely bad luck to go back to back with jurors that voted almost purely for spite instead of any common sense reasons.



As for this vote, jane had to go soon, as she had the most chance to sweep in final votes. But unless fabio wins idol next week he has like a 95% chance of getting booted. If jane stayed breaking the power triumvirate, then fabio has more leeway for the new power block to focus on chase or sash, or even then rejoin the other 2 guys to take down jane. Dan is irrelevant as no one really wants him off as he has about as much chance as I to win the final vote, but for fabio it was a crucial missplay for jane to go then.

Fix what? It's been said 100 times now that Russell, while a BRILLIANT strategist and tricky mo-fo SUCKED at the social side of the game. Strategy, cunning etc gets you to the vote as Russell showed TWICE. But when it comes to the vote, its the social aspect of the game that lets you win. People are realizing this now. Thats why they see people like Jane as a threat and why bringing people like Na'Onka and Sash to the end is smart. Sure they made it to the end, but only fucking people over along the way. Russell losing twice has changed the game!

And really? You're reason for voting people off is cuz they cried when they saw their mom (somebody they only see 2 times a year anyways?) but you vote for Holly because she is from your state? IIRC Holly was crying to be voted off a few days into the competition... that she missed her family etc. and it was "too hard"

Whoa, whoa, whoa... I wasn't talking about a fix for how the voting goes. I'm talking about an overhaul of the whole show. Hidden idols, plentiful food sources, etc. It's become pussified since the show began.

I didn't say anything about "voting people off" I said I am rooting for someone from my state and don't give a fuck about the rest of them especially a whiney little dick who can't take it when he gets screwed over on tv. I'm sorry, but if you whine because you haven't seen your mommy in 3 weeks, GTFO.

Jane had to go and Fabio & Dan knew there would be no million dollars for them if Jane got to the final 3. Jane has won immunity before on the tricky strength and endurance challenges so I put Jane in the top 3 for winning the next challenge if she was still around.

I see Fabio taking this if he can survive the next Vote.

Alliances in the game are meant to be broken. Expect Holly or Sash to break away from the other 2 and form a new alliance as DAN gives you a 50-50 shot of winning the million if you bring him to the finals.

My vote goes to Fabio in the end if he makes it. Runner up - Holly.

why "should" Russel have won?

if he "should" have won he would have won. that is what some people just don't understand. he only played part of the game in a really great manner, and the way he played his social game as probably the worst in the history of survivor (for people making it as far as him), that greatly outweighed his other skills. that is exactly why he got like no votes.

You are way wrong with how Russell played. He played one of the best social games ever. He convinced people to vote with him each and every time. Every week he was surely gone but he was good at getting people to side with him. He lost because he backstabbed people and people get all butt hurt.

yea dude, lying and backstabbing is part of the social game.

he was just very manipulative and nothing more. apparently being manipulative is not a good quality to have in survivor, since he made it to the finals twice and got killed both times.

(and i was rooting for russel both times to win)

you do know that the next season is in Nicaragua as well right? and it has already been filmed. they filmed it immediately after the current season.

yea they said it saved a lot of money already having the film crew there and everything. pretty interesting decision.

i sent in an application to survivor after season 19, and if i had gotten on I would have been in season 21 or 22.

funny thing i've already been to nicaragua and the areas close to where season 21 took place heh, that would have kind of been a downer to go to a place i've already been! still would have LOVED to go there, especially since 2 contestants quit like little bitches.

In just about any other season, a person doing the same that russel did would have won.


As for not wanting jane in final three, her making it to final five doesn't mean she's final three nor has there been an announcement yet if it will be 2 or 3 at the finals for this year.

I can't comment on Russell's first season, but Parvati should have won last season. She was every bit as strategic as Russell, she won the most competitions, and she was never false about her allegiances aside from possibly Amanda. She lost because of her association with Russell, if you ask me.

ah, the good ole concentration/balance challenge. sash and holly have always sucked at these longevity types.

fabio been looking weak but holly manages to be first to drop...followed immediately by chase.

sash's stack looks like it's cemented compared to fabio, yet he fudges on a placement and fabio takes back to back to back crowns.
