Danny's awesome. I dunno what he's doing on this show though, cuz he doesn't seem like the type to be working for Trump- he's not a stuck-up suit like everyone else

LOL, the first task is to run a fastfood restaurant.
Ha, let me be the project manager, we'd win for sure.

Being in the fastfood business, watching these guys is absolutely hilarious.

I'm still watching the show but the idea of giving out a free trip is frickin stupid.
Its a fast pace enviroment, people are not going to stop in Burger King and get the new burger based on a free trip...utterly stupid.

What I would have done was to give out free fries and drink for purchase of a new burger.
Fries and drinks have very low cost margin. It would cost you nothing to give them out with the new burgers.
It'll probably cost a whole lot less than a free trip also.
It would grab people walking by to stop in if they see FREE fries and drinks. Its instantly FREE stuff instead of knowing you're never gonna win a free trip anyway.

This has to be the funniest episode ever.
Toss the ball in the thingy is the most insane absurd thing I have ever seen.

Probably give them a new persective of the fast food business and the "no brain""mindless work" attitude.

Since your boy, Danny, isn't exactly jumpng for joy, I assume he doesn't make it to the final two?

They should have taken the best selling burger and and the "new" burger and priced them the same. Then slap a "Limited time offer only" while advertising getting "More for less". I don't know if they got to choose at what price the burger sells for though.

Well, probably...I honestly don't see him as a person working for anyone....even less working for trump. He really does like to be on top. I still see him making a name for himself and earning big bucks, but not by working for Trump. One thing easily agreeable I believe by most people, is being on the show is a HUGE form of advertisement; people visit the NBC site to find out more about the contestants all the time, and it lists their firms right on there. Free advertising

From how I know him, he has very good vocabulary, and can fend for himself quite well. I wanted to see him defend himself in the board room, but even better, he didn't need to; the blame just suddenly shifted over completely.

Whether he makes it or not, I think most people here will agree with me, when I say that he makes a very interesting and fun to watch addition to the show

Your boy, Danny was not the cause for losing even though he came up with the LAMEST promotion in the history of promotion. I think Burger King is too embaress for NBC to even show that.

But their reason for losing was obviously the slow lines.
If you notice even though Net Worth sold 3-2 in term of burgers, they only won by a small margin in profit.
The reason is probably they gave away the free trip.
So really if they had just rung a few more sales, they would have won.

The guy that went first remind me alot of store managers who just sit in the office all day and do nothing.
"Hey I'm the leader, I'll just walk around and oversee things, no need to get my hands dirty."

omfg Audrey is gorgeous. I dunno, these guys don't seem to have learned from the previous seasons. you don't volunteer to be PM early on, and you don't stick your neck out. let a few weeks go by and let the morons weed themselves out.

I think that fat guy was foolish for cursing like that in front of Trump. I also think Danny will be canned the next time his team loses. Trump: "you're just a disaster" lol

How is that a promotion ?
The key is
1) To draw as many people into the restaurant as you can
2) To Sell as many of the burgers as you can with the highest selling point possible.

So lets say their Junior Whopper is their best burger and it sells for $1, how are you going to win selling that burger for $1 even though it will draw people in.

Did you know a Soda and Fries will cost on average of $.11 and .$20 respectively ??
You can sell any of those burger for $3.50 and that would not cut much into your profit margin.
All those people walking by hungry, where else can they get a full MEAL w/ a main size burger for $3.50 ??

Remember, this is to sell as many of the NEW burgers as possible.....not overall sales.

This show better not turn into the "lets fire the project manager!" show like it was last season.

Where the hell did they get the "book smarts"? They all seem like talentless self-centered jackasses. I liked the Net Worth PM, the rest of the team looked average. This season isn't looking too promising, I liked the orginial cast.

We just came off an apprentice season. I've loved the first two season, but it is too damn early to jump right into a new season. Apprentice overload.

teh win! and totally agree. it's too soon for another apprentice. I think it would be classic TV if, in the final boardroom this year, trump was like "Yeah, um... I didnt like anyone from this season. So I'm not hiring either of you."

Oh no, who'se neonerds friend? I honestly hope to God it is not Danny.

If it is Danny, then his friend has no chance in hell of winning.

Danny is a monkey boy, dance for me Danny, dance!

other thoughts:

- How about the guy that kept swearing at the dinner table in front of Trump?
- The girl already crying at WEEK ONE about having to vote someone off?
- The promotional attempt by that weird guitar dude of throwing a ball into some box-looking thing
- Trump being wicked tuff in the beginning stating how he is so rich and powerful and babababababa

neonerd call your friend Danny immediately and tell him to man the ef-up and stop being the monkey.

Trumps looking for a leader, not someone to throw bananas at.

What was he thinking when... ehh forget it, Dannys dead in the water...

Sorry neonerd :/

[edit]

Good luck to him anyways, that'd be great if his friend got put on, I just honestly don't see it happening

I liked how Danny defended himself in the boardroom, but he better come up with something better than a box with a hole in it next time.

Danny's promotion had me thinking of Brian Regan...

Agreed. If you look at the book smarts group, non have any Ivy caliber degrees, plus they're purposely selected jackasses. What is Trump trying to say?.....That if a street smart person wins (i.e. higher ratings b/c of the "Little Guy" factor), Trump can lift his arrogant finger and say "Ahhh, but you didn't compete against a Wharton guy!"

Trump is an "old school" bigot. I thought he was above this, but he isn't. The show is stupid and is living up to exposing Trump's true nature that he's indeed an idiot as he gets more exposure through his show.

.....If it wasn't for his silver spoon/Daddy, slick-willy Trump would be sales manager overlooking 3 sales people at the Daihatsu/Isuzu Dealership in Hoboken.

the booksmart people arent that smart, they cant even come up with a correct name for the team, summa cum laude is even greater than magna cum laude. Maybe their combined GPA is only in the mid-3.0. haha
