This is all predicated on actual free and fair elections happening in 2028, because the Dems are a mess. I still think Biden can win, but it's certainly not an almost absolute certainty especially after yesterday.

I lived there for 25 years. I'm NOT a California hater...but there's no denying...it has a fuckton of problems. IMO, the homeless crisis in CA has two main causes...the weather...it's much milder than most of the nation...and the social networks that provide so much support for them.
As for Kamala...I'm not a fan of Willie Brown's girlfriend.

The Biden team requested these debates and this format, it was their call.

And they still flunked big time because their candidate is too fucking gone in the mind to handle a debate of any kind, or live questions beyond maybe two in a row, it's pathetic.

I think ultimately the fundamentals don't really change, because for the first time in a long time we have candidates that legitimately seem to have diverged not just on process but on principles.

Regardless of who is at the head of a party ticket:

- Inflation matters
- Abortion matters
- Immigration matters

Old Joe will have another crack at this in September, pump him full of uppers and let him go then.

Recall that Obama did terribly in his first debate against Romney, but got it together for the second two.

But Obama didn't have questions swirling around his age, mental capacity, and basic ability to LIVE for another 4 years. It's one thing to lose a debate, it's another to completely affirm all the worst fears/suspicions about a candidate.
