Ah, I'm going to the AMC Theaters in Barrington by my house to see the movie since it has the nicest digital setup I've seen yet. I forgot to mention that. If that theater has a digital setup as well and we end up going to the one downtown, I'll definitely consider going there.

Until then, my plan is to head back to my house or just straight to the theater depending on the time we get out and all of that fun stuff.

I've been looking for digital theaters around my area for quite some time, thanks for the tip . Too bad not all movies are digital, many still use reels. How's the sound there? I've been in those Barrington AMC theatres about 4 years ago, huge aren't they? I'm currently searching for a theatre that offers best video and audio so I can be ready for T3 this summer.

The sound is fantastic. The theater is HUGE! I'm sure there will be several shows running concurrently so I hope it won't be TOO crowded, but I'm not sure what to expect.

It's easily the best theater in the suburbs and probably in Chicago (not counting the Imax ).

Okey dokey. So what's the deal @ D&B? Are we there to play games or to eat or both? If we play, I have to be somewhat conservative since I know they charge an arm and a leg for games (who doesn't nowadays?). Thanks for the Hot Deals $10 link.
