A lot of little-known events are up first, and those are the events the Chinese government is targeting to increase their medal count, since they are not as developed as other sports, and there are many medal opportunities.

Just finished watching judo, badminton, and some soccer and saber fencing! I streamed over 6.5gbs worth of video from nbc! Had a dual monitor setup so I could watch more than one stream at a time (I had 4 streams going a few times) and it was awesome! If only I could keep this other monitor...
Now I'm off to bed! Can't wait to do it again tonight!

You gotta give it to the commies, they did a good job with the opening ceremony. They also have built a spectacular stadium and that water cube swimming pool is quite cool, too. I really will be surprised if London can match this. I don't think they can; I don't think England will put in the effort China has with snazzying up these Olympics. How could the opening ceremony really be beaten?

I'm trying to download the 720p one that's up now. So far none of the HD ones seem to be good.

You can do a search for "MBC" since it's going to be the Chinese HD broadcast and they seem to have mispelled it.

It's not England, it's the UK.

One of the London organisers already commented they haven't got the financial resources so don't expect them to try and match or beat the epic performance by China. We probably couldn't even if we tried, this country fails so hard. Even the 2012 logo was a fucking shambles and made us a laughing stock.

I'm not sure any country can ever beat that ceremony, it was off the scale in all areas :thumbsup:

Equestrian events based on 3 disciplines:

Dressage
Jumping
Eventing

The only possible point of interest is when the horse says "I'm not having any of this" and goes apeshit, or they epic fail straight into the obstacles.

I think the ceremony would prob be great in person. The TV version was just Lame.. I might be too picky though. Could you imagine what 600 million dollar CGI would look like. HEHE
