i was in beijing for 3 days in 2006 on the first leg of a 2 week visit.

i didnt see the sun for 3 days due to pollution.

there is no sun in beijing.

The host did mention that in the rehearsals earlier today, the drummers were instructed to smile more often, so as not to intimidate the [Western] audience.

Nice ceremony at the beginning but I could've done without all the political commentary during the nation intros. Also, Costas should say stuff like their best medal contender is so and so instead of going off about how they'll probably lose in the first round, too much negativity. I agree with the SS up there about the video editing too.
