Has any flashed a ROM built from the recent GB leak? Since it requires the new radio, and isn't backwards compatible with the Froyo builds, I've been holding off. I also strongly dislike how shitty Sense is.

The newest Das Bamf 2.0-5 build though has some Sense 3.0 features built into, as well as a fixed Netflix app, plus a working camera. I wish there was a more stable vanilla GB build, but those devs are waiting for a more stable GB leak to work with.

I went back to Das BAMF 1.6.3, for some reason I got a bad flash on 2.0, will wait for it to get straightened out a bit before I try again.

Fuck man. Anyone order theirs from vzw.com? Did it to get my discount price, ordered on Friday. Says it has been processed and awaiting shipping.

Was expecting to get this tomorrow at the latest, now looks like Friday at the earliest. This normal?

FYI, if you've flashed the leaked GB radio, its causing some TBs to go into a permanent reboot loop. No fix as yet, its suggested that you roll back to Froyo.

Finally got my TB yesterday. Rooted and installed Das Bamf 1.7 remix. Loving the phone. Getting over 11mbps in my house on 4G, much better signal than my Incredible on 3G ever got at home. Hope that holds true around LA.

Is there anything critical that is stored on the 32gb micro sd card? 32gb is huge for a phone, would be better used in my Asus Transformer and place a 4gb card I have lying around in the phone.

I don't think there was anything too important on the card, my speeds in LA have been great.

That leaked radio was a mess, it took quite a bit of work for me to get rid of it

Wtf man, 4G down today or what? Only getting 3G at my house, just drove around West Covina, La Puente, Industry, and couldn't get 4G.

Seems to be back up to speed now...

Yea finally got a 4G signal again just a few minutes ago. Installed that 4gb sd card too without a problem.

Yea, unfortunately I ordered mine last week. Anyway though, from what I'm reading, it would be a big hassle for me to go through Amazon. I transferred my upgrade from another line that does not have a data plan. Good thing is I am eligible for another upgrade on my line in January.

So first day I got to take my TB to work. Must say Verizon's 4G coverage was excellent, never lost signal. Went to a couple spots I got no 3G with my Incredible, but I was getting 4G. Only pulling down 5-6mbps in those areas, but that sure as hell beats like .01mbps.

Yeah, I can never go back now

Honestly, 3G isn't that bad, but when you start looking at ping times, you realize how much difference the latency makes...

Yea 3G would be fine for mobile to me IF it always got a good signal. A lot of the time though I'd be getting around 0.5mbps, buffering on Pandora or skipping songs etc.

You have a different radio version or something? Best I've got is about 12mbps/4mbps and pings around 70-80ms.

First one in this thread IIRC.

I notice it takes me a few minutes for the phone to lock on to new towers if I lose signal in a parking garage or elevator, particularly in a new area.

How is your GPS? Mine has been intermittent, seems better with current rom, das BAMF 1.7 remix.

Thanks, will check it out.

As far as the gps goes, haven't used it other than checking out how the 4.3" screen looks in Google nav in my car mount for a minute. Haven't driven around using it. I installed dB 1.7 remix before I even started using the phone tho, so nothing to even compare anyway.

That took some balls lol. Took me almost a year to attempt rooting my Incredible a month ago. Installed a rom on it for the first time on Friday for some practice.

STILL 129.99 at Amazon.

I wonder if Verizon thought they would sell like hot cakes and ordered too many of them......

Not necessarily: stuff is just cheaper on Amazon Wireless.

Also, there's no way this can sell anything if it's near price parity with the Charge.

Dilemma. I like the MR2 radio, seems to be pretty smooth with LTE/3G transitions. But its only working in a few roms right now, none of which are really de-Sensed.

I can roll back to Vanilla Bean or I can roll the dice completely and try the CM7 build. New builds seem to go up about every 2 weeks. The slow GPS lock mentioned in the known issues kinda puts me off though, when I need Navigation, I really need Navigation.
