No, Carla's dish was only great without the protein in her own imagination. SHE claimed that if she had done it differently it would have worked, all the judges felt that there were issues with every aspect of it. The judges thought that every aspect of Fabio's dish was great except the doneness of the lamb. They loved the pasta and the two sauces in Fabio's, the same could not be said about Carla.

Both of those 2 have been at the top pretty much the entire season since the first 2 or so episodes. There is a reason they are sticking around.

I live 5 minutes from Arianne's restaurant and am sort of rooting for her. She made a bunch of rookie mistakes earlier but has redeemed herself of late. Still, she won a challenge by slicing some tomatoes...

Well the episode last night was for them to cook anything they want, of course they are going to cook somethign they can do well. the people who didn't were sent home. the ones who did good last night cooked comfort food.

the episode before she butchered the scallops and almost lost because of it.

"Scallops ... Jesus Christ! All she cooks is scallops! This is Top Chef, not Top Scallops!"

i agree. too many catering challenges. being a chef is about serving food on the spot fresh to diners.

also the product placement is a bit much sometimes. the diet dr. pepper challenge, but then you see arianna actually using diet dr. pepper in a dessert. who the fuck does that?

my wager is the producers told her too.

Just watched it last night.. sad to see Eugene go, but he did a few horrendous things the past couple of weeks where I could see he deserved it. But Carla deserved it more.. I can't stand her.

Leah does seem like the weakest remaining. She'll probably be next unless someone else screws up. My guess is it will come down to Stefan and some mix of Hosea Fabio and maybe Jeff. Maybe Radhika sneaks in, but she seems limited. Carla just looks too freaky to consider...

How Carla has made it this far boggles my mind. she is a below average chef. the only thing she has impressed the judges with is her baking skills.

leah, carla and radhika definitely sucked last week, but ariane just didnt have the skills (tried and failed). the others two didnt do anything, so couldnt fail. i think carla is gone next week, then radhika after that.

I think carla will stick around a bit longer. I dont care for her cooking, but she executes fairly well.

After the last episode, I think Leah or Radhika should go home next. Radhika keeps saying that she doesnt want to be known as the girl who is middle eastern that cooks only middle eastern, yet, all she does it cook middle eastern. Leah is just annoying me and isnt showing any skill lately. She is leaching off of Josea who is one of the top.
