First off its pretty crazy how they edited in the decepticon so seemlessly. Second, they had to replace a scene because one of their stuntmen died during the chase shoot and he didnt want to use that footage.
I did watch it earlier today and I like it, much much better than Fallen.
The fight scences are much better and you can see who is fighting who and less shiny bots. Oh yes, more violent and close up of parts chop off.
I think there will be another sequel and major change in the next one.
Since Megatron is dead, who will be the new leader? I hope they bring back Soundwave and his two little robots.

Maybe but you can still tell somethings are aimed for kids like the two little autobots in this third film. Bay also said the third movie would be filmed 2D and quickly said it would be 3D showing he does not have full control over "his" movies.
My biggest issue was Who the Fuck is Shockwave. Where did he come from, why wasn't he in the other movies? Cause his giant ever growing worm thing that raped a building would have been useful in the other movies. Also where the hell was it hiding? how did it get from Ukraine to Chicago and nobody noticed? does the damn thing tunnel through the planet? Wouldn't somebody notice that shit?
WTF happened to Soundwave? Did Cybertron not have an atmosphere cause the "planet" just looked like a big space station.
Did they really need to have robot Nemoy quote from Two classic sci-fi franchises (one being a famous line spoken by Spock)?
Why use the fucking wingsuits when the SEALS seemed to come in on the water with 0 casualties....
I'm more surprised that you didn't complain about putting one celestial body close to another causing serious gravitational problems. Wouldn't Earth have been torn apart having something so massive that close to it?

Megatron is dead, Soundwave is dead, Starscream is dead, Shockwave is dead, etc etc. There are no prominent Decepticons left unless you start going down the Unicron route.
Also, Bay has said he is done with Transformers and so has LeBeouf. If they ever do another Transformers movie, it will be a complete reboot.
Watched this film yesterday, I actually really liked the bits where there were no Transformers on screen! The rest was the usual Michael Bay bullshit. The last 45 minutes was appalling shit, basically the bit in Chicago, no talking, no plot, just explosions.

Megatron could come back, its not like he hasnt been reborn before... Maybe a Fallen can come back and revive him or something kinda like what Optimus did for Sentinel. He already had those little robots repairing (?) him no reason they cant keep doing it, they are freaking robots why cant they just reboot his HDD in a new robot. Cough Galvatron cough.
Maybe a trip to Cybertron and a story with Unicron vs Primus where Galvatron tries to awaken Unicron, and the humans are a key role as Sam or w/e the next version of energon appears as and has to go to cyberton and save it from Sentinel's and, later Unicron's, destruction.
My impression was that Cybertron was destroyed when the portal shut. It seems like they were trying to finish the series for good.
