I hate watching the Italian international team play, Totti just confirmed what a bunch of sorry ass losers they really are... disgraceful challenge.
I agree. The bloody I-Ties are my most dispised team, hands down. Anyway, I didn't catch any of today's matches, how did they go?
I gotta go to work soon so I'll keep it short.
Denmark played extremely well and Italy looked like underdogs. They both created some great chances but Denmark created a couple more, I think. Buffon made some good saves, but the real star was the Danish keeper Sorensen. He made some incredible saves, including two cracking freekicks from Totti. Towards the end of the match, Totti kicked a Danish midfielder on the knee, which was a foul totally out of frustration. He got away with it with only a yellow but we are hoping that UEFA would analyze video evidence to suspend Totti for a couple of matches.
Bulgaria played very well early on and were very unlucky to not score at least 1 or 2. I recall one where they crossed the ball behind the goalie but the Bulgarian player leaping with a high foot was just short of a few inches. If he had just brushed the ball to deflect it a bit, they would've been up 1-0. Sweden played extremely well, though, and they dominated the second half. Ibrahimovic was excellent and created the first goal where he fooled the offside trap and unselfishly crossed to Ljungberg to knock it in. Bulgaria fought back well but Larsson sealed the game with 2 awesome goals in 1 or 2 minutes, one which was scored with an incredible diving header. Sweden had the game won but kept attacking, and scored 2 more goals to add to Bulgaria humility. I feel bad for that hot Bulgarian chick.
