Holland has awesome single players but they're just no team, I hope with a new coach, they will FINALLY play with 2 strikers! I mean come on, you have Kluivert, Van Hoijdonk and Makaay on the bench?

Sephy: I think most of us aren't writing Greece off BUT the Czech are just SO strong as a team that it's VERY hard to beat them.

It's called psychological pressure, almost everybody in the game of football uses it one time or another.

I think he is a good sportsman coz he didn't kick Van Nilstelrooj's rear end after his professional foul inside the portuguese box. Btw, I think he should have been sent off for that challenge and I hope that UEFA sees the video of this game and suspends VN for at least the same ammount of games that Frey took for spitting.

I know you're probably pi$$ed that Holland played miserably throughout the tournament, that's not Portugal's fault.

I see that you have some sort of particular hatred towards Ricardo... u must be a FC Porto fan, they also despise him for taking up Vitor Baía's place in the portuguese team.

As for mr. Nilsterrooij I think he's a very sore loser coz he did something similar when Man Utd faced FC Porto in the Champions League. He now will have to face some disciplinary proceedings (link) due to his behaviour after the match ended last wednesday, I hope that UEFA fries his rear end with a 5 game suspension.

Portugal,Spain,France,Chech Republic couldn't defeat us.

Great Germany in her football history was always depending on her strong defense to achieve her goals.

Aye, fair play to Greece getting this far. I just would have preferred an all out attacking final for a change, and Czech v Portugal would have done that job just fine, unlike the boring defensive game Germany has shown in previous finals.

I do think Greece beating Czech tonight was one of the luckiest results in the tournament, at no point in that match did I ever suspect Greece of scoring. But they seemed to have been that extra bit fit when AET was being played cause they looked really fresh the Greeks, but to nick a silver goal like that within the last minute from a corner of all things was harsh, didn't expect that at all.

But as I say fair play to them, their negative game plan worked, just woulda prefered the final to have a bit of class (i.e. attacking football)

Nobody argued that Hellas wasn't an outsider. WTF we came here and the bookmkrs played us 80-1.
And look at us now. In the final. I can understand your logic, hell I'm a great fan of attacking football but I ask you this. If your country was playing that football and hopefully reaching the final,would you be making these comments?
Sometimes hard work,teamplay,great courage and luck if you want,outplay the style and the talent.

And my team showed the heart of a lion so far in this tourney. They are giving 100% of their potential and playing their own game.
I mean it's not like that we are a team with a great football history,to criticize us like that.
