VANCOUVER, British Columbia (Ticker) -- The St. Louis Blues hope to remain the NHL's only team without a road loss when they visit the Vancouver Canucks in the opener of a four-game road trip.
The Blues have outscored their opponents, 20-9, in going 5-0-0 on the road this season. rookie Eric Boguniecki has four goals on the road, one more than veteran center Doug Weight.
St. Louis rebounded from having its nine-game winning streak snapped buy Columbus with a 6-3 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday night.
Weight had two goals Saturday and has 19 points during a 10-game points streak, while Dallas Drake also scored twice.
Vancouver was 3-1-0 on a four-game road trip, which concluded with Saturday's 5-2 victory over the Phoenix Coyotes. The Canucks are 5-1-2 on the road and just 1-4-2 at home.
In Saturday's win, Markus Naslund had a goal and two assists and Todd Bertuzzi had a goal and an assist. Naslund has eight goals, but none in Vancouver, while Bertuzzi has just four of his 17 points on home ice.
Overall, the Canucks have scored just 15 goals here and are winless in their last six home games (0-4-2) since posting a 5-3 victory over the San Jose Sharks on October 12.
St. Louis was 2-1-1 vs. Vancouver last season and is 15-2-2-1 against the Canucks since the start of the 1997-98 season.
