I'm looking forward to Monarch sending me notice that my MSI motherboard and 3200+ (Venice) combo has shipped. I placed the order on the 22nd so hopefully I'm toward the front of the line.

Can venice work with 4 sticks of ram at 1T or is it limited to 2T? Now that people are starting to get them, can anyone finally answer this question? Some people say yes, some say no.

So what is the final verdict?

From everything I've heard, if youre using 4 double sided sticks, youre still stuck at 2T with Venice. But you can run an AMD-spec 400Mhz with 4 sticks now. Previously the spec was 333mhz.

That's trange. I thought Venice was designed with this as one of the major enhancements? If so, it's not really up for debate, unless it doesn't work with specific configurations.

I also heard it allows you to work with 4 DIMMS at 400, rather than 333.

I always try to use Monarch as they are close to me here in Texas, give great service, & Usuually ship the same Day you order unlike the Egg & Zip Zoom. This week I ordered the 3000+ Venice Monday & Wednesday a XFX 6600GT PCI-e which according to Fed-Ex should be here sometime today. I recently liquidated my Socket 754 3000+ & my PNY 6800NU. Next, I will dump my mismatched 512 sticks, & grab one of those Hitachi 80 gig Sata II drives. Anyone recommend a couple matched 512 sticks for A K8N Neo4 SLI board?

Madman7th--The OEMs have always shown a much earlier ship date than the retail box version. I've been monitoring the situation for months now. Gave me time to get a bunch of great deals on other computer hardware. Looks like next weekend will be the final assembly for my new computer. Whoah!

Just called Monarch. The May 20th date is the ETA for any 4000+. It turns out none of them will ship the 2nd.
