Anyone know how to get to the Performance and Quality settings on the 78.01's? I'm still on the 77.77's, but a friend of mine sent me a screenshot of his drivers and that page seems to be mysteriously missing...

Hmmm. You should install them first. Might just have been a glitch. If it was widespread, we would all be hearing about it.

As for enabling that, you would have to search the NVTWEAK folder in your registry for something like that. If i get a spare second, ill look for you and post if i find anything.

Other than that, i haven't heard anything about it. Sorry.

Well, I assume he has the nvtweak/coolbits key already set, because he has clock frequency adjustments available...

I'll probably install them myself later...I wonder if there's something wrong with the international package, which he might have installed (as opposed to the US English one...)

Not saying AT isn't good enough, because IMO its the best.

But you might get better replies looking at the Nvidia forums, or the TweaksRUs forums (They know drivers...they know)

WHile that is set, most people dont care what else is in there. Something may be disabled for some reason, or there might be a bug, or he might have just done something wihtout knowing it.

Ok.

Under the HKEY/Local Machine/Software/Nvidia Corporation/Global/NVTWEAK, there should be a DWORD value that says "NvCplDisablePerfQualPage". Ask him to make sure that is set to 0.

THanks for keeping this thread alive.

I just want to let you guys know...it might be a while until i can revise...update, and start writing reviews on drivers (Busy ). THat is why i didn't ask for another sticky. Ill continue to post new drivers, but it wont be anything new for a couple weeks maybe.

(Hopefully, ill get a test machine running for driver testing)

Supposedly the XG 78.05 HD drivers help reduce or fix stuttering in games like BF2. I also believe they have new 8x.xx drivers on their site that have a new control panel with them.

From what i've heard, the 78.05 drivers are called "super drivers" because its supposed to be good.

Has anyone tried the DNA drivers recently? KS just released new ones for ATI/NV yesterday or so. I would try them myself, but 56k sucks.

Also, I'm very interested in these XtremeG WarCats drivers that just came out. Anyone?

I believe to download the moddified drivers you now have to join the forums.

Oh really? Well I tried again and i figured it out. All you need to do is click on the details first and bingo teh download works.

The Tweaks R US 78.05 nVidia driver is excellent. In the past I've noticed reduced image quality with modded drivers. Not the case here; IQ is just as good.

BF2 frames have improved noticably. My rig is in my sig.

I've noticed with the 78.05 drivers, the OCing is really screwed up/goes back to stock if you log off

the 81.84 beta drivers that they tweaked are supposed to be pretty nice

Update: Just tried these, I get improved performance in every game, and the IQ is great as far as i can tell. FEAR timedemo increased to no fps under 25, and the highest went up to 84, and the average was 43 (compared to like, some under 25, highest at 78, average 38 or 39)

Try these out! I've tested out HL2 (and related games), FEAR (demos), and Halo, and everything is working fine.
