Nothing fishy
K-Dog, a bottle-nose dolphin belonging to Commander Task Unit trains with Sgt. Andrew Garrett in the Arabian Gulf. These units are working to ensure shipping lanes are clear of mines for humanitarian relief.

go to this page then watch the March 24th slide show, it's on slide 3. It looks like they strapped a video camera onto one of the flippers of the dolphin and then it goes to find mines. Bizarre.

I'm not going to comment on this, just present it for you to decide whether it is true or not.

Morocco offers US monkeys to detonate mine - UPI

RABAT, D.C., Morocco, March 24 (UPI) -- A Moroccan publication accused the government Monday of providing unusual assistance to U.S. troops fighting in Iraq by offering them 2,000 monkeys trained in detonating land mines.

The weekly al-Usbu' al-Siyassi reported that Morocco offered the U.S. forces a large number of monkeys, some from Morocco's Atlas Mountains and others imported, to use them for detonating land mines planted by the Iraqis.

The publication quoted a highly-informed source as saying, "that is not a scientific illusion but a well-known military tactic."
Those Monkeys might be mistaken for Republican Guard troops!

The second site has some good info about 9/11. Its on the left hand side. Maybe you should take a look. It talks about how Israel influences the US government in many ways. All I ask is you read with an open mind, and ignore the paypal scam

Good info if you're a conspiracy theorist. It's all crackpot B.S.

The government has lied to us before(Pearl Harbor, etc), and they haven't magically stopped now.

EDIT: TYPO

Ok I might be a little out of the loop on this one. How were we lied to about Pearl Harbor?

From wha t I remember from Junior History, we (the public) aren't sure whether or not the government knew that we would be attacked at Pearl Harbor. They might have been using it as an excuse to launch an attack on Japan.

Fox News reported that Longbow that was captured by the Wogs was later destroyed. I hope they were still celebrating around in when the ordinance demolished it.

How so?

We have several objective we have to achieve or the world will freak out. Namely prevent Israel from getting attacked(taking out the SCUDS) which will prevent the Arab states from jumping in; secondly we haven't used the MOAB or other ordinance because it would piss people off.

My statement was a generalization, but I thought it pretty self explainatory.

I sure hope this is true.

I kept asking myself ( if I was the pilot) would I have allowed them to capture me or would I have let them walk up to the helicopter and then detonate all the bombs on board and kill myself and take them with me.

I've been worried about propaganda since 9/11, and from looking at all available sources and at history, I think that the Coalition governments are definatly propagandizing(word?!?) at least in part. Also look at this site.

There is no such thing as "free" speech when it comes to war.

Open to comments/constructive critisisms.

that first link is very interesting; everything is plausible and would explain a lot, but I would doubt some of their casualty figures, especially the armor. it's probably a good counterbalance to the "official" coverage.

the second link, well.......

Only congress can declare war. That has not been done. In fact, it is posssible what we are doing now is against the law and constitution. I am not sure. I'm sure eventually those questionable postions will be scrutinized. Frankly, I don't care,as long as Saddam, and Al Quada and Osama are obliterated while we wait for answers to those questions.

A while back Congress voted to give Bush power to use military force in Iraq. I'm not sure how long it lasts for, or how much force it authorized, but they voted for something along those lines

I recall the congress authorizing the use of our military under the War Powers Act. My post was about the provisions given by a declaration of war that allows for punishment for sedition. I am not sure sedition is applicable in this case; that is my point. I am well aware of what Bush is using, and make no mistake, I am in support or our commander in chief and the military action that is taking place now. When this is all over, and history is written, the legal and moral questions of this action, replete with all the enuendo that has been bantered about around the globe over these past months and months to come, will challenge the validity of the War Powers Act and dependent on how it is used, I predict refinements and clarifications will be ammended to the ruling. Bush must report to congress within 60 days of placing our military in harms way and engaging them in hostilites. That permission granted by the war powers act can be extended for periods of time, not to exceed 6 months without returning to congress for more authority.

That is the long and short of it.

The apache has a cannon that will rotate 260 degrees whereever the pilot looks...with a sidearm and that cannon, I would NOT be a POW...that is until my ammo ran out (or the battery for the chopper)....then its KNIFE time, come get me

If I'm not mistaken the armament is automatically "safetied" when an apache touches down.

Does Saddam actually think that anyone believes that he is the ones on the tape and they weren't pre-recorded?

A monkey can tell you that it's 2 different people on the tape that was released today and the one a few days ago.

All such safeties can be manually over-ridden. Matter of fact, before taking off there is typically a safezone where weapons can be test-fired to make sure they are functioning properly.
