Why did they cut away from the Eagles/Bengals OT? What NFL rules (explain blackouts and shit to me)?
i dont understand it either, but i wish they would change there stupid rules so we could get 2 games on both fox and nbc each sunday. anybody know the reason for only showing 1 game on 1 of the networks each week?
Its fox and cbs at 1pm and 4pm (eastern time). They usually block out the channel opposite your home market team's game. For example, if you live in Philly and the Eagles play at 1pm on cbs, the 1pm fox game is blocked out. Sometime you live in a two-team market like NY, where you can get really screwed if the Jets play at 1pm and the Giants play at 4pm
If your home market team is at home, your other channel is blacked out. If they are away, the other channel is not blocked. If your home market team is at home and on the non-double-header game, you get 2 games, if they are away, you get your normal 3 games. If the non-double header network is showing the 1pm game in your market, they can only show you bonus coverage till 4:15. After that, just highlights.
Your home market team's game must be shown till completion and you can't be overriden out, like what happened with Chicago and Green Bay today.
