I am completely confused by this. No one... not the announcers nor the Chargers thought it was an illegal forward pass.

These refs are either stupid or paid off.

I know every year we say the refs are awful, but this year they are taking it to another level..unbelievable.

I think there is a good case building for the league to employ full-time refs. Let them train throughout the offseason to boost the level of officiating. The big argument against making refs full-time is that you'd loose many qualified refs who would be forced to choose between the nfl and their other job.

I think right now no one would shed a tear if some of these current refs left and some new blood, maybe good college refs, were brought in.

Even NBC is talking about the line. Olbermann said it was obviously a forward pass. Some people are saying LT pitched it forward. I need to see a better replay, but the few times I looked at it I thought it was backwards.

Isn't a forward pass a penalty and could therefore be declined by the opposite team? I don't know

Since no one else even noticed us today... TITANS 10-0! Down 3-14 at half and finish up 24-14. At least I know one more thing about my team that I didn't know before this week... yes, we can come back from a double digit deficit.

Yep, and it doesn't matter what happens after the forward pass...accepted or not...because the play is considered "dead" at that point.
