I know they were stuffing the box. But good power backs will break through it anyways. And you still have to achieve some sort of balance to keep teams honest. Yea, sometimes a team just knows it's a run and flies up in the box, NE tried to run Blount on several 3 and out's and the Chargers were ready, he's not a breakaway threat but is one of the toughest guys to bring down, didn't matter, he got stuffed. Finally NE's O coach brought out Blount and they passed to Edelman who only had to break one safety tackle en route to a game-winning TD.
