If Atlanta's Defense and running game would step up they actually could have a good run. But the coaching and those 2 areas are to weak.

Colts will clinch the division, and therefore, a playoff spot with a win over Houston Sunday. It won't be easy though -- I have a feeling JJ Watt is going to tear up the Colts crappy O-line.

Yeah, I don't get why Atlanta is so bad with their talent. Julio Jones was pretty much unstoppable last night though.

I really hope the Colts clinch and then just auto pilot next week. Might give the Cowboys a chance!

Hoping the Miami/NE game is good, but being @ NE I don't really expect it

I don't see the Colts beating the Cowboys to be honest but if they do, I think they'll likely finish 12-4 (assuming they beat Houston). There is no way they're going to lose to Tennessee in the final game unless they decide to sit everyone on the bench.

They're one and done in the playoffs IMO unless perhaps Cincy ends up a wild card and comes to play us.

I am worried the Dallas D can't stop Luck ( they have a hard time stopping anyone). If they are 11-4 going into the last week, I could see them sitting the starters against Tennessee. They will have the division and little chance (if Denver and NE continue to win) to get a higher seed. Might as well not risk injury.

Dare I say, game of the week could be Thursday. With the way the Ram's defense has been playing, and the injuries for the Cardinals - could be interesting.

Monday night's game is going to suck.

I really think the Rams are going to beat the Cardinals. They are playing very well and their D is doing just fantastic. Cardinals aren't playing terrible, but I don't have faith they will continue on as smoothly without Palmer at the helm.

No Palmer/Ellington and an injured Fitz. Yeah, the Cardinals are doing the same thing they did last year, starting strong and then getting fucked royally by the injury dildo.

Hey, if you match up two shitty teams you might get something that's at least fun to laugh at

I'm just wondering if the NFL announces new bans on referee fist-bumping before this week's games...

"Can we start the Dodge Ram at left tackle?"

"He's a mobile quarterback, and he can't outrun a BUICK?"

"That's one way to eject a stolen laptop."

"Only Superman can have 4 turnovers on one drive." >_>

And, with Johnny Football scheduled to start Sunday, can we assume Hoyer is officially done in Cleveland? And, Marvin Lewis calls Johnny a midget.

Browns will be worse off with Manziel. He's a selfless, self-absorbed little twat. Hoyer understands there are times that he takes the blame for the broken play, the bad route, the incompletion when, in reality, he did everything right but the timing was off on the other end. Manziel in the same situation...forget about it. It will be all about him and how someone else was off.

Say what you will, Browns best bet at winning is to keep Hoyer and build from those off games. He's already proven that when he's on, he's really on. I'm no Hoyer fanboi or Manziel detractor...just call them as I see them.

I might have a different viewpoint if Manziel had any height to him whatsoever or a cannon for an arm or laser-pinpoint accuracy...he just doesn't. He's no better than other backups in those areas. He has some legs and a ability to run around hanging the ball out to his side and keep broken plays alive. Smart defensive coordinators will have him figured out in 2 or 3 games tops.

FTFY

I am not saying Manziel is a great player, as we don't know that yet, or that he can make it in the NFL, but this move isn't a bad one IMO. Hoyer is rumored to be leaving the Browns at the end of the season and Cleveland is last in their division right now on a two game losing streak under Hoyer (who was awful in both). Even if this ends up costing them a shot at the playoffs, it gives Manziel more time to get used to playing in the NFL and gives him some much needed work under pressure. Hoyer is a career backup guy and Manziel could be starter material. Even if the Browns win out, they still have to hope some other teams lose to make it. Dropping the last two games really hurt their chances.

It's laughable you're comparing Manziel to Russel Wilson. Even early/rough-around-the-edges Russel Wilson was a far better quarterback than Manziel.

I would wager a lot of Hoyer's issues these past few games have been because he knows deep down that no matter how good the Browns do this year or how good he was, Browns brought Manziel in under a wave of hype and pomp and was the future.

When you have a team that's not giving its all with you at the helm because they know a change is coming (right, wrong, indifferently), it is hard to keep all the holes plugged in the ship and keep it afloat. Browns let the QB issue linger and fester too long. They know what they were doing to give them the 7-4 start and it was working. They kept Johnny Mouth on a short leash and Hoyer (and the rest of the team) was comfortable and had some rhythm. Few weeks ago, Midget starts making quips and comments and pushing coaching and management to respond. Team chemistry goes off the rails and they're where they are now. Not many elite QB's today could even shine in that kind of environment.
