I'm actually rooting against the Saints today because I want a better draft position. As I type this Brees throws a pick, yes!

same place with the bears but i have a sinking feeling they are gonna win today and let the Saints get in front of them.

Team should have played Fales at QB and let his name do the work.

Looks like the Cowboys are leaving all of their starters in.

Technically, they are playing for a higher seed. If Seattle and Arizona lose and Detroit vs GB doesn't end in a tie, they will get a bye as the second seed I believe.

Why would the Saints start any of their normal starters? Give the 2nd and 3rd string guys some work and avoid injuring your starters.

Fucking buffalo.

Looks like they want to end the losing streak in NE, their defensive front is probably the best in the league and they are playing up to that standard today. Brady could not get the Pat's in the EZ, he left after the 1st half and now Grappalo has been running around trying to avoid the rush the 2nd half. No Gronk or Edelman today and unfortunately for the Pat's Lafelle (WR) and an O-lineman have left the game with injuries, Bills in control at the 2:00 min. warning, they have to punt but I don't see the Pat's getting a TD with the way the Bill's D is playing plus they would need a 2pt conversion just to tie it.

EDIT: now a final, Bills win 17/9. Sucks that they lost last week in Oakland but the Raiders have actually played hard every week and have upset some teams in the second half of the season, I think some teams took them way to lightly and wound up getting beat, don't be surprised if they give Denver a run for their $$ later today.

And Chiefs are wiping up San Diego, which means with the way things fell last week and the way things are shaping up this week IF Buffalo won against the Raiders, they'd be in the playoffs.

Cowboys are getting better late in the season which is usually a good sign; that said, so are the Seahawks. Going to Qwest, and winning again, against a team playing MUCH better than they were in October, is really not likely.

It's something new for us that's for sure. If you were to have a checklist of things you want going good for you headed into the off-season the only thing the cowboys are missing is strong D, and it's not terrible, just not strong.

Cowboys snagged another turnover and turn that into a 60 something yard Randall TD. That's 40+ points in the last 4 games.

Yea, that sucks, been awhile, I'd like to see the Bills return to the post-season, they have some class fans who support the team no matter what happens. If you look at Oakland's season though they play much, much tougher than their 3-12 record indicates. It took the Pat's a 4th Qtr int. to seal what was a game heading into OT in Foxborough, they've also showed up every week and played hard, they even managed to put up 24 points at Seattle although they eventually lost that game. As for the Pat's the late-season OL issues continue, they were in good form during the Pat's 7 game win streak after a very shaky start but now have been reverting to the same 'ol, same 'ol, missed blocks, gap responsibility issues, speed-rusher issues. The Pat's have 2 weeks to figure something out if they can't do so expect a fast departure from the playoff's for NE.

Damm, Detroit playing GB tough in GB, sucks that the Lion receiver just dropped a 1st down pass, can't do that against a good team on the road.

GB manages a TD drive after the Lions go for a 4th and 10 instead of a 50yrd FG attempt, don't get that logic one bit but the bigger news is Rodgers executes a nice shovel-pass for a TD but injuries his thigh badly during the play and had to carted from the sideline, this look bad for GB's playoff future, Flynn now in at QB.

No, Buffalo would still be out. They win no tiebreakers and the Steelers, Bengal, and Ravens all have 10 wins.

Edit: Now if the Browns had taken care of the Ravens in the 4th quarter, that would be a different story.

And now aided by a hands-to-the-helmet penalty on GB Stafford throws a rope to Megatron for a TD, now 14-7 GB. GB fans were upset about the call as Stafford was barley slapped on the helmet but the Ref's are very consistent on QB hit's to the head, it will draw the flag EVERY time no matter how slight the contact. Should be an interesting 2nd half now that Rodgers probably will not return. Meanwhile up in Seattle the Rams are not going to the playoff's but they are going to show up for the final game of the season and lead the Hawks 6-0 at the half.

Wow, nice catch by Megatron, (and throw from Stafford), game now tied 14 all as the scrappy Lions refuse to go away, meanwhile Rodgers returns to the sideline after stretching his calf during the half and now appears to be ready to give it another try. I'd be surprised if the Lions DIDN'T make it a point to make contact with that calf, even if it draws a flag.

Come on, Atlanta. At least keep the Panthers out. Do something positive for God's sake.

Yea, very surprised by the domination by Carolina, I thought Carolina would play a competitive game but am shocked at how easily Atlanta is going down. Meanwhile Rodgers returns and brings GB back out in front 21-14 with pin-point accuracy on every throw. Detroit just ran the kickoff back to the 45, they need to keep scoring and keep that GB offense off the field. Meanwhile the Ram's are hanging tough in Seattle with the score now tied 6-6.

I was pretty sure that at 10-6 each, both teams would have ended up with same conference records and Buffalo's SOV would have been better pushing them into the 6th seed.

Going into Week 17, Buffalo needed the KC and SD to both lose at least one game, the Steelers to win, and Buffalo to win both week 16 and 17 to get in, along with the rest of the AFC pack to end up 10-6. The only thing that didn't happen was Buffalo winning in Week 16.

Damm. Lions stop GB, block the FG then fumble the exchange on a run play and GB gets it right back, looks like their streak will continue with stupid mistakes like that.
