Anyway, good result after having him sent off. Too bad though, was really hoping they would get the win.

Goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune insisted the South African public should shoulder some of the blame for the team’s 1-1 draw with Mexico at Soccer City for failing to provide enough noise and atmosphere to give Bafana Bafana a homefield advantage.

“We couldn’t hear the vuvuzelas,” said Khune, referring to the droning traditional horns that are set to provide a constant accompaniment to this tournament. “We expected to hear them and to be lifted by the people and the noise and the atmosphere.

Wow, is this guy deaf? All I could hear over the TV was that constant, annoying buzzing.

Odds are currently running at 1.54/1 England win, 7.6/1 USA win, 4.5/1 draw... seems slightly more England-biased than I would put it... but maybe thet's just British pessimism...

Are american bookies offering anything different?

So how many Americans will be frequenting bars across the pond during tomorrow's game (or today's game in the UK)?

I don't know about Americans, but bars in Canada got exception to serve beer in the morning during World Cup

Especially the west coast ones, they are serving breakfast and beer

Hopefully Greece can beat up South Korea. I remember the blatant cheating in 2002

It would be especially humiliating for South Korea if they become the first team to lose to Greece in World Cup Finals
