Christ, watching England is always agony.
They are the experts at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory

USA defeats England 1-1

I know what you mean.
Our goalkeeper might as well have turned around and booted the ball into the back of his own net. What a d*ckhead and I'm so p*ssed off that he effectively handed the draw to the US on a silver platter.
I hope this is the last game he plays in the Cup, he's a goddamn liability to the team. Mistakes like this should not happen when he has been chosen from others to represent our country as being the best that we offer.
Too bad we can't have animated avatars:
Man that is horrible. I was too young to remember the world cup back then.
I was supporting the USA even though live in the UK because I am not English
Being in the UK is agony, all they talk about is 1066 which is the last time England won the World Cup. Maybe England will win it again by 2954 lol
I have to run my Sunday errands, probably wont be watching any of the games today. Doubt I'll be able to catch any at work either...I wonder if I can find a radio station that carries them.Anyone else watching Algeria Slovenia?
Uh, are you confusing the Battle of Hastings with England's victory (1966) or am I just missing a sophisticated joke about that?
And England was the better team for the most part. I'll take the goal, but especially in the second half it seemed like England was playing much better than us. There were too many times when I thought we were going on an attack only for a pass to be off target, ending up out of bounds or in the control of England.
On a side note, it would be pretty sweet if both England and US advance and face each other again.

USA might have trouble advancing judging from what I have seen so far from Algeria and Slovenia. They are a lot hungrier than USA.
At least the USA can score.... sort of.
