That would be a great historic moment... I doubt it tho because the refs start to be a little unjust. The reason I say so, from what I remember.... take a look at Cameroon the year of 1986 or 84 cant remember, the ref called a penalty shot against them and it clearly wasn't and there goes the hope for a whole continent...lol

I think the US is poised to surprise a lot of people. After many false starts (where everyone kept saying the US is finally able to emerge), it looks like they have some speed and skill and can match up with the big boys. Now they're flying under the radar, they're going deep this year.

He was a great player, but I don't think (and most people agree with me) he can coach worth a damn. But due to his demigod status, Argentina doesn't really have much of a choice if the guy says he wants to coach.

I saw the US lose to Czechoslovakia in the 1990 World Cup. Our team was really pathetic then.
