Lol people saying Algeria could have won the game, did we watch the same game? USA had about 5 half goal opportunities that an experienced team like, say, Brazil, wouldnt waste
Thats all it was, USA's inexperience was the only thing holding them back from owning Algeria by 4 or 5
Did the USA really get screwed out of the early goal? I turned on the game at 55' and the announcers on ESPN were talking about it. They seemed to be looking at things from a purely American perspective, though, so it was hard to tell how much bias came into play.

Also, it looked like Algeria was playing almost entirely defensively. Is this always the case with them?
Yes. The replay from the top showed Dempsey was on-sides when he scored.
I still think soccer should incorporate video replay for contentious goals like that.
Man, USA has to be the most exciting team in this World Cup so far.
My money is on New Zealand
Yes, we did. It wasn't really a close call.
It was an extremely close call, especially real time. It looks like a wrong call but not blatant in any way.
Niiiiiiice,
we need to win this thing.
