Newegg shows 3 Arcade sku's for sale (this is the second holiday bundle too), so maybe they are pointing out that this is the Jasper one?

Very interesting. It's interesting that it shows up as a different SKU in their system. That kind of surprises me, but it is what it is. Maybe we have a fellow hunter amongst the Newegg ranks? If it's not really a separate SKU, the chances of them sorting these prior to shipping would be quite slim.

FWIW....I kinda feel bad now. I returned the lot 0837 and when i bought the Jasper, all I had to do was buy Ratatouille ($19.99) and I got a $50 gift card to boot!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats, all your hard work has paid off!

Unfortunately I didn't get to go to Dayton this weekend, but I am definitely going next weekend (stupid snowy weather and college coursework). But I might hit up the closest Walmart this week just to see if they have any.

I would jump on the newegg sku but I am just not convinced that this would net me a jasper. It looks promising, but it just seems weird that they made a separate listing, and it might not mean anything.

I went to Fry's in Campbell, CA last night. After checking 4 Pros with 14.2A, I found one Arcade left on the shelf. Turns out to be a Jasper Lot 0844x, CSON, Mfr.date 11-5-08, 12.1A with a 150w brick.
It has the internal memory.

So..., I spent all night playing Fight Night Round 3 on my 46" XBR4. Looks awesome!!! Dead Rising is next on my list.

Been following this thread hoping someone would have seen a Jasper Elite. Decided to go hunting myself @ Best Buy in Fair Lakes (Fairfax, VA). No luck, most of the Elites were old (82x and a few 83x) - I did see one with a sticker of 0847 and got excited, but it was a re-label the serial number was an 82x.

It makes sense that the Arcade / Pros would get Jasper first since they probably move stock a lot quicker than the more expensive Elite. Hoping that maybe in the next few weeks there will be reports of a Jasper Elite.

I got a Japer Pro Holiday Bundle at the Tri-County BB for those in the Cincinnati area. I think I got the last Pro Jasper on the floor, but they had at least 4 Arcade Jaspers on the floor that I confirmed through the Window.

I got a lot 0843X CSON on the box, but the serial lot is 0840. Manufacture date is 10-30-2008

I haven't done much to it since I've only been home for about 15 minutes. But I do have the following:

1) Sticker on the box read..."XBOX 360 PRO SYSTEM VALUE BUNDLE 2008 EN/E"

2) I turned on the Pro Jasper for the very 1st time without the HD. When I go into the memory settings, there is no additional memory to be found. NXE is not pre-installed.

3) I got a Falcon PSU (175 watt) while the XBOX showed 12.1 A through the window.

4) At the initial setup screen, the kill-a-watt was a solid 85 watts. After the setup was completed, it stayed on a solid 85 watts. Once I installed the HD, the wattage bumped up to 88 watts. After upgrading to NXE, the killa-watt stayed at 88 watts idle at dashboard signed in to XBOX LIVE.

5) The fans in the back are not Delta's....I think. These have no stickers on them so I can't idenify them. BUT, at idle, these fans are quieter than any XBOX I have owned(5)...even the newer lot 0836 & 0837. I am assuming that with a cooler running XBOX, the fans are running at a slower RPM (less noise)

6) Using the flashlight, I can see the capacitors. It's a 4 X 2 setup, using the "golden" capacitors....


I am going to take more in-game measurements, but this will be later. AND, I am gonna open it up to replace the thermal interface material for the GPU & CPU. But this will take a week or two before the stuff arrives. QUESTION.....do you guys need/want me to open it up for any pics? I was hoping by powering on the XBOX without the HD when it started for the 1st time the 256 internal memory would show up...but it didn't. I can take pics.....let me know.....it might take a day or so.....

Those that have found Jaspers, can you let us know if you have the "Value Bundle 2008 E" sticker on yours? At least for Arcades. I'm curious about Pros (and eventually Elites) as well. If anyone has found one with such a sticker that ended up being a Falcon, that would be useful as well.

Great day for the Darrell and Jasperhunter and I, As i have also just got my Jasper finally.
Anyone in the Nothern KY or Cincinnati area, my best buy in florence has gotten all shipments of jaspers, i even saw a jasper elite Lot 0844X. I'll be posting pictures in a few minutes here.

In the product forum on amazon, some people are saying they got jaspers, but it porbably varies on what warehouse it came from, and they didn't specify that in their posts.

I was very lucky to get a 150w, thats what i was hoping for. I have no idea what the fans are.
Built in Memory like we've seen.
Soon finally getting to play Gears of War 1 for the first time.

Well, so far i feel that the CD drive is a little louder than the Ben Q i have heard from the first falcons.
I just finished the Prison Break portion of Gears 1, and the are coming out the back is just...slightly warm, the bottom of the unit had no heat at all.

The fans have a slight Wrrrr to them, but it really doesnt matter when you're playing a game cause you cant hear it.

all in all, i hope this thing lasts as long as it should, otherwise...i may be very upset.

Hi all. I've been a long time lurker on the "old" thread and now on this one. For those of you that have (recently) been asking, I was able to find a jasper pro tonight in a NY BB. I found a 360 pro at the Patchogue, Long Island store. I've also looked at the one in Bay Shore but had no luck.

The system I got is (obviously) 12.1 as seen through the top and Lot 0842X. Also, it does have the "XBOX 360 PRO SYSTEM VALUE BUNDLE 2008 EN/E" designation on the sticker. I haven't opened it yet as to see what power supply I have.

Anyway, I don't know if anyone here is from Long Island but there were definitely several more (maybe 3-5). They had a large display of both arcades and elites but nothing there looked promising in terms of 12.1 A. Funny that only the Pro section seemed to have any Jaspers and they were on a shelf in the back (unlike the other two versions in the front of store display stacks - which were not in the back at all).

Anyhow glad to contribute, I've been leeching off this thing for a while

Can you take a picture of your sticker? My 0835 FDOU Pro Falcon also had "Value Bundle 2008 EN/E." We currently theorize that "E" by itself at the end might by an indicator of Jasper.

Mine was an 0838X build date 10/14/08 by serial mine is an 839 with the same sticker "XBOX 360 PRO SYSTEM VALUE BUNDLE 2008 EN/E" but was a Falcon, so the sticker appears inconclusive. Usually the lot to serial differentiql is only one batch off. To see 843 on the batch but 840 on the serial is unusual.

I purchased an Xbox 360 Pro at Target today since they are offering a $40 gift card with either an Elite or Pro.

Here are the specs:

Lot No.: 0844X
Team: FDOU
Mfg Date: 2008-10-30
Console labeled: 12.1 A

Sticker: "XBOX 360 PRO SYTEM VALUE BUNDLE 2008 EN/E"

The power supply is a 175 watt, but with the Jasper power connector.

I was trying to hold out for a Jasper Elite and they had a couple of really new ones, but they were still 14.2 A.

This is in Portland Oregon.

Being in the UK I'm obviously going to have to wait a while longer to get a Jasper, seems to be slow moving here, at least in the retail stores, my Local ASDA in Durham City, UK is still only upto lot# 0833, no movement in nearly 2 weeks.

I'm making another call to ALL UK Jasper hunters out there or anyone with info to contribute to this thread. My main area of interest would be if anyone had info on where the UK online retailers are upto with lot#'s, Amazon.co.uk, Play.com etc... I am hoping they get to Jasper units in the next week so I can get one for christmas, 2 year old unit (still going strong) is a Lot# 0644 Xenon, and the sound level is so bad it couls be used as an SAS interogation device

So come on UK Jasper hunters let's find the first UK sighting.

I am not sure that a low-end supermarket is the right place to find a high turnover of Xbox 360 consoles (for our American friends, ASDA is a British supermarket owned by Wal-Mart); and it's high turnover that is needed to get Jasper in. Your finding that they are still up to lot #0833 demonstrates this.

See our posts above, all the British contributors to this thread are trying to find Jaspers and post info with no luck so far.

I'd argue that a low-end supermarket retailer like ASDA who only last week were selling the X306 arcade at £110 is exactly the kind of store to turn over a large number of units. The ASDA in Durham is also an "ASDA living" store that only retails non-food stock.

I'm only asking for a consistent effort by UK Jasper hunters as we seem to get 1-2 posts from them, then nothing for days on end, our North American counter-parts are on the case daily posting multiple posts per day is some cases.
